Looks like someone's been into the Sam Adams a bit too hard.
It is more about niner fan having to suffer the indignity of watching one of their all-time heroes hand us a Lombardi on their home turf.Joe likes Sam Darnold (I put up a new thread with a tweet of him saying so).
Keep giving our team motivation. This is kind of shit that our team feeds off of while not feeding into the bullshit.![]()
Who have the Seahawks really played? | Pats Pulpit
We hear a lot about the Patriots and their weak schedule. I just finished reading an article that said this Super Bowl would be an absolute blowout, with the Seahawks embarrassing the Patriots. So I looked at their schedule to see what their bona fides are. Because the Patriots have the same...www.patspulpit.com

That wasn't a good day but do you think it has any bearing on this upcoming game?Your team lost to the Raiders...I don't care if it's week 1. It's the Raiders and they only won 3 games all season. Let that sink in.
Every td he threw he had someone in his face. The td to bobo he was actually getting tackled when he threw it.Well the Rams mostly rushed 4 down, but there were a couple times they blized and thats when sam was sacked.
Only if it fits YOUR narrative. That wasn't a good day but do you think it has any bearing on this upcoming game?
Yeah, he was, but it was from a normal 4 person rush...I could be wrong, but I don't think it was a blitz.Every td he threw he had someone in his face. The td to bobo he was actually getting tackled when he threw it.
None of the previous games do. NFL is a matchup league. What matters is who can play their best on Superbowl Sunday. Stating that the Seahawks aren't battle tested and haven't beaten anyone are extremely disingenuous statements. Many Pats fans are spouting this garbage. That wasn't a good day but do you think it has any bearing on this upcoming game?
Does it matter? 4 man rush or blitz, the defender was there and still got scored on. Win for Sam Darnold and Seahawks. On a blitz means there would be one or more less defenders to stop the thrown pass. With weapons like JSN, Kupp, Barner, Shaheed, Walker, and even guys like Bobo have shown they can make a clutch catch. So the choice is to die by not blitzing or blitz and still die. Which would you choose? The Pats may get him a few times but Sam will make them pay as well. Sam survived a 3 turnover game and beat the Rams. At the time, the Rams were ranked as the top team in the league. They were never the same after that game.Yeah, he was, but it was from a normal 4 person rush...I could be wrong, but I don't think it was a blitz.

It was amazing to tell you the truth, that he stood in there, and like you said.. soon as he released, he was getting clobbered.
This is the one that makes me laugh out loud. From patsfans:
"The Seahawks defense's stats and rep has been propped up by playing a lot of average to below average to awful QBs"
The context was that Sam Darnold crumbles under pressure. Which is incorrect. Darnold's worst game was when he threw 4 picks against the Rams in LA (week 11). The Seahawks still had a chance to win that game but missed a late FG and lost 21-19. Incidently that was the last loss the Seahawks had so far. The Seahawks have a team that can overcome Darnold's mistakes. Darnold himself can brush off his errors and keep the Seahawks in games. He has done this multiple times this season.Original context was lost .
Also, we can make up for an ineffective running game with the Screen game.Arguments over who has played a harder schedule is completely irrelevant to me. We will struggle to run the ball I think given their elite D lineman and our less than elite O lineman. The question is can we make plays in the passing game which I think we can.
I think their offense will struggle for the most part. If we can generate consistent pressure I think we win this game. If not Maye will be able to complete some big passes. In a tight game that might just be enough. Especially if there D generates more turnovers like they have.
I think we win but I can see anything from us blowing them out if we turn them over to a real defensive battle that could go either way.
I do not expect a Pats blow out but that could be my homerism coming through. anything is possible I guess but that in my mind is highly unlikely.
Talk to em!EASIEST SCHEDULE IN THE NFL IN OVER 20 YEARS. Don't sit here and act like the Pats didn't have an easy road. Wow
And no, the Hawks did NOT get lucky. You clearly didn't watch the game.
Me too. The Patriots play in a division that made them play against the number 29 and number 25 defense twice a year (the jets and the dolphins). They also play the number 4 offense (the bills). Nine of the opponents they faced (in 11 games) were so bad they fired their coaches. This is the one that makes me laugh out loud.
