Just today (yesterday?) I was at the outlet mall in Carlsbad (SD) and I had about 5 different guys chat me up about the Hawks and how good they are now
And after showing some Hawk love the typical Chargers "fans" were all "yeah I used to root for the Chargers but now I'm all mehhh"

I see this all the time being transplanted to Southern California, but honestly, do you blame them? What if Ruskell was still here? What if you watched the Seahawks decline when you KNEW you wanted something different? Have you heard any SD fans take up for Norv Turner in the last few years? I think that's kinda lame, but I remember being a kid when the seahawks were cellar dwellers year in and year out, and it was hard. I might be in the minority, but I understood those brown fans wearing bags to their games.

Yeah i get it and I understand what you're saying and of course I remember those bleek times but the rampant apathy and raging bandwagoning that I have encountered since I moved here in 07 are unlike the brown baggers. At least those guys show up and support like real fans, Chargers fans can barely sell enough tickets to not be blacked out. Even when it was painful to watch the Seahawks in the 90s I still called myself a fan. GO HAWKS!

Try getting all the Seahawks love out here on the east coast . I've never ever got so many go hawks comments as long as I've been a fan . Also the the Seahawks and toughest teams out there in the same conversation . To go as far as guys selling knock off Nike jerseys out of the back of a van IN NEW JERSEY frickin crazy!!!
It's almost like the stars aligning perfect and to boot the Super Bowl is in my backyard this year . I'm tellin ya now
Marker my words(lol) this is the year we come out as the Super Bowl champs in legendary fashion!

Part of the team training this year should be about playing in cold weather. I remember when we played the Packers in the winter and our lines were constantly pushed backwards, slipping and sliding all over the field. Cold weather football is a different game and requires preparation. But knowing RW, he'll be ready for that.
