That Adam 🤡 left 2 straight hanging sliders right out over the plate & Geno clobbered them both. This Ferguson is really a glorified mop-up man. Should've picked up a better reliever.
They have Emo working in Tacoma as a bullpen option now,
he was throwing 99-100 mph and sinker was in high 90s..
I don't know why they are waiting.
Also Santos is pitching on rehab .. Both need to get to Seattle.

Man, I just don't see the point in taking Castillo out. Dude settled down and was under 90 pitches. This was a total Servais move by Dan. There's 30 fu**ing games left, in a pennant race and we are scared to let our $22 million dollar starter go 90+ pitches.
I hate modern baseball so much it's unreal.

I hate the so-called modern thinking too, in this case Castillo had too many
pitches early so I'm ok with it, however Ferguson came in earlier than he
usually does and I don't like that choice.

With the exception of Fergie, the bullpen did their job. Now let's get some runs and win this thing.

Now that’s an overpowering bullpen, I wish ours looked like that.

Well, the Padres are a 75 win team. Tough loss, but their bullpen is better than ours, it seems.

Need more than one good inning to win games. What we did right - get guys on then cash in with a long ball - worked well when we did it, but couldn't do anything else.

I was thinking the exact same thing, especially when watching Fergie give runs right back

Game was lost in the atrocious first inning, regardless of the lead Ms briefly held later in the game.

Crazy game. Down 5-0, up 6-5, then down 7-6. Padres are a tough team. Not trippin. I expected 2 of 3 and I expect that happens today.

73 degrees at first pitch today. Perfection. Can't wait to see Woo do his thing today.

Good win over a good team. Took the series and the home stand 4-2.

Day off tomorrow, they need it before another tough road trip.

Geno, yeah, he's been heating up a bit. Another 3 run bomb.

Was kind of hoping to see Hancock in his new role as a reliever, but the game sitch didn't allow it.

This is like playoff baseball, folks. Every win counts. Any loss hurts. Stros have 2 more games left than we do.
