What's the source of this rumor? It wouldn't really surprise me, but I'm curious where it came from.

Yeah I can't find anything with multiple keyword searches, even a side alley Reddit post except for an article on Seahawks Draft Blog and one of the COMMENTERS making this assumption, SORT of around 3 year deals

This is why the rumor mill and people overreacting based on their own emotions or psychological issues is a bad thing.

I don’t have links but, I’ve seen other folks (other forums such as Field Gulls) mention the same thing.

While rumors can get out of control, usually where there’s smoke…..

Definitely hope this isn’t the case. If so, there could be a potential sell in the near future.

That's directly from Condotta, someone with access inside the building. The rumor came from Corbin Smith, who was fired from SI, and has been relying on word of mouth and rumor for the last week.
