It may be deflection from the GM but sounds like we missed out on a guard as we couldn't offer more years than the Vikings despite matching them financially.

Should we be worried? What exactly is the status with Jody Allen? I heard she needed to sell the team at some point due to Paul Allens will. When is that?

I'm pissed if this stuff is costing us players and we are being short sighted. Bad enough having bad owners at the Mariners who need to sell up.

The less big cash commitments the more attractive a team is to potential buyers. Season to season W-L has negligible impact on a teams valuation.

Thats what's been rumoured. Apparently toy to do with Paul Allen's Estates rules. It scares me a little. Paul Allen was pretty much the perfect owner. We could get worse but could maybe get better than jody

I don’t believe there was any clause in the estate forcing the sale but I remember something about a clause saying any sale had to happen after a particular date. I’m not sure what the date was off the top of my head but I am certain we are past that date.

This is all conjecture based on the Fries deal falling through, but wonder if the #Seahawks potential sale down the line is playing a part in the team not going beyond three year contracts right now.
