I just have to say how utterly impressed I am with him. His attention to detail is top notch. Moving on from Pete was a big decision, but I believe Mike is the perfect coach for the team we want to be. He’ll bring back that home field advantage that makes teams fear playing in front of the 12s. Super proud!!! GO HAWKS!!!

Great post. I’m really impressed with him as well. He commands the room, makes the necessary adjustments and appears to be forging a new culture, building on top of what Pete did and tweaking it some in order to reach this younger generation.

During his show on Seattle Sports radio this morning, Mike said (at the 19:47 mark) there's a specific quote by Marshawn that has been ingrained into this team's DNA. Marshawn has said a lot of memorable things, but if I had to guess as to which quote of Lynch's he would want his players to follow, my guess is this one...

There's just something very satisfying about seeing a HC in his first game ever........outcoaching a so-called great coach. I think Sean Payton is maybe the most overrated coach in NFL History. But that's just me.
