Going into yesterday we have beat the #3, #7, #10, #11, and #15 defenses. We beat the #3, #7, and #15 (15 is the Texans who have been as high as a top 5 defense before we stole their soul) defenses on the road.

Our offense has been far from perfect, but the fact that they are able to do enough to beat these pretty good defenses should be extremely encouraging knowing we have been playing banged up all season.

A lot of improvement still needs to happen, which should be a scary thought for the rest of the NFL.

Not trying to attack the poster, but I'm getting really tired of this premise. We're going to have to play some tough defenses in the playoffs, and are going to have to play well against them. Being able to take advantage of subpar defenses isn't gonna help squat in the big picture.

I am not like most posters on this board that takes different views personally, I actually enjoy it as I like the discussion.

My point more so was we are beating these defenses (some in tough environments) with a huge part of our offense missing. Once we get that back I expect to play well against any defense that comes our way.

That's not entirely true. Look at most of the top defenses. They don't belong to playoff teams. From an NFC perspective, SF is #10, Chi #13, NO #14, Det #17, Dal #21, GB #25, Phi #30. Those are the teams who are in range of a playoff spot. Not exactly a daunting list. It is week 7 so this will all change immensely before the playoffs.
