I’m officially on vacation and stopped on my way home for a pint after hearing Supertramp tell me to “Take the Long Way Home”. Some of you younger bucks won’t get that reference.

As I decompress, I was reminiscing about the Lambs and Hawks Thursday night game I was able to fly in and take my son to… just an incredible week of being out there and seeing the Kraken 🦑 🥅 and then the game. Truly an unforgettable memory…

Started looking at ticket prices and noticed the tickets we had, in the general area, already are double what I paid (I bought in like September for December) last year. Is it the opener? Banner raising? What makes it so appealing? Outside of STHs, anyone going?

Go Hawks. I’m about ready for the back-to-back!

All about memories. Sports are great that way. Endless memories with my fam. Esp. my parents.
A small group of us doing the M's/Hawks double dip that day. Won't likely stay more than 6 or 7 innings because we wanna' be at our seats for the ceremonies. But it'll be a blast.

That game was incredible… we were shock, awe, and experiencing total jubilation. My son (who is now 14) said “Dad… you want to get a beer?” as we shuffled out of the stadium.

Yes, son… yes I do!

And yeah I’m sure it’ll be a party that day and kudos to going. I was just shocked at the price… but everyone loves a winner.

Tickets were far higher for the opener than for the next several games, the last time I checked.

You pointed out why. Opener. Banner raising. First game as Super Bowl Champs. Likely a final salute to the Allen family before the sale. Patriots travel well. Good rematch. Take your pick. Combination of all of the above.

Don't forget bandwagon fans hopping aboard now that we're the current Super Bowl champs. Honestly, our crowd noise has never returned to form since we won our first Super Bowl.
Maybe not, but it was plenty loud for the 29ers and Rams games. I mean, Clams.

Orlando, FL...for good.

Yeah, but not as loud as it used to be. We were the loudest stadium in the NFL before they even started PROMPTING for crowd noise on the screens in the stadium more than just occasionally, which pretty much all other stadiums had already been heavily relying on for many years. Chiefs fans proudly proclaimed themselves the loudest by barely beating us on the decibel meter, while conveniently ignoring the fact that their stadium holds more people AND their stadium did ridiculous amounts of prompting to hit that volume.

Meh, still pretty loud. It is what it is. I doubt it will ever get back to that level. Esp. with how so many have been priced out.
And we never had to tell our fans to get loud. Nothing more fake than pre planned noise. I'm sure it's loud in KC, but they also have 10K more seats.
