The team fought hard and came up short. The coaching and players have a few things to reflect on but if the field goal Was made, we are cheering for over time.
it was a loss but they fought hard.
Thursday is going to be gut check time. They had a chance today but came up short, it happens but if they come Out flat against the niners that will get ugly fast.

What stings more to me is not that play but the play before it which would have made that not even happen and us possibly even win the game. JSN is feeling awful right now.

I mean if thia was an average team, it would be one thing but this was against bottom feeder at home. This is still a loser team.

This team was one field goal away from tying the game and possibly winning it and you tell me they did not fight, well I am sorry but I disagree with you on that point my friend. The nfl has upsets in many games today including the cards vs niners and also our game. We should have won but we didn’t. This is a new coaching staff and it is a stiff learning curve. mistakes will be made often I suspect

This is fair. However, the reason it sounds wrong is because the Giants are an absolute bottom feeder team with a bad QB missing key players like Nabers. Nobody wants to hear how hard the team fought. It's like telling a Chiefs fan how hard they fought losing to the Dolphins or whatever terrible team. And yes I know you mentioned how we are new and not world beaters yet.

DK's a soft hand bitch who has no business getting the amount of targets he was getting to start the game. The dude is a physical freak who doesnt use his body or muscle to his advantage. Can't even call him a poor mans Megatron because even that version would probably be better. Im done defending his ass. The dude is Lockette gets man handled by smaller CB's. Cant out muscle or box out defenders. He's ass unless he's WIDE open.. even then he doesnt really get "open".

One fumble and we're up or tied before the last 2 minutes if he wasnt such a bitch. And to those saying "bet you wouldnt say that to his face!" .. **** yes i would, then take every penny he owns if he tries anything.

/end rant

I'm not sure that was a lack of courage, but you're right, it was a pivotal play just like the Njigba drop. On second down I turned to a buddy and said, we'll lose this game if we don't end this drive in the endzone. We were in it for just a few game minutes and ya just knew we'd have to steal the thing on that last drive. I was not anxious to go to OT. It was just that kind of game.

They could have won with a TD on that last drive. Mike needs to have a 2 minute offense (that works) ready to go.

On this team, yes. But I think this brings up a bigger issue, who is the real alpha of the WR room? Who do you trust when the game is on the line? It’s good to have three very good receivers, but DK should be the dominant player that dictates the ball. But, that is not the case.

DK is a wildcard. Too emotional. Drops passes, at times tries too much and has a handful of fumbles. Golden was tough, had his moments of immaturity, but didn’t seems to put his team in bad spots. Hay, is that a Top Pot donut!🍩

For me DK's early fumble set the tone for the way this game was going to go. That and the way it seems like every time the Giants come to Seattle with a struggling heavy underdog team they leave with a win. Wasn't it just year before last they did that very thing?
Anyway, it is what it is and unless we come up with a serious case of turnaround karma Thursday night we are headed for a tough to take season.

I think JSN later in the year will be that clutch guy

What I am bothered with is it took Grubb 3.5 quarters before he tried no huddle, I hope it is in future game plans

The team has a ways to go and on a short week

We get you hate the current coaching staff and think this team will lose every game. Your instant gratification is very clear with little patience. It will be fun watching you come unglued each week until one of two things happens, either the Seahawks win or they fire the current coaching staff.
maybe I have a little more patience any optimism that management like JS is smarter than us yahoos on .net.
Who would you have as the Seahawks coaching staff if all these guys are garbage, would love to hear your theory of who should have been hired or if Pete should have been extended as coach?

JSN's drop of the pass right in his hands on 3rd down before the FG attempt was the play that irked me the most near the end of the game. We were driving for a game winning TD there or chip shot FG. I didn't want to have to kick a longer FG there to tie it. Our place kicking game always makes me nervous.
