Not that I'm a big fan of Total QBR, but......

Apologies as this is pretty unrelated, but just didn't want to create a thread for it, but a week or two ago somebody posted the chart comparing all the *young* quarterbacks(Wilson, luck, rgknee, kaepernick) statistics. Had season statistics all the way down to situational statistics. Does anybody have this?

Ya, but;
He really hasn't played anyone that tough.
Seahawks got a cupcake schedule.
He owes his passer rating to Lynch.
His defense totally carries him through games.
He is too short.
He gets a ton of balls tipped at the line.
He runs too much and doesn't look for the open guy.
And Jaws ranks him at #10, behind Luck, Flacco, and Romo who are the REAL studs.
QBR is dumb if RW scored good.
Passer Rating is dumb unless Luck scores good.
He also...... ok, I cant go on any more.

I love me some RW. Does he even have a ceiling? We are truly the luckiest fans in the world :)
Frisco Ron Jaworski thinks he's still correct and you're full of shit. The rest of us think you rock!

DaneRuss' ceiling is 6 Superb Owls (and if he read that I said that he'd win 7 just to prove me wrong).

I keep hearing that too.
I think they mean ... Luck will continue to grow in height until he is taller than the tallest linesman, while RW will continue to shrink until he is 5ft tall. :sarcasm_off:
Obviously these people believe RW can't get any better. RW loves it, when the odds are against him ... he will prove them all wrong. I expect RW to win more SBs than Manning in the next 10 years.

What always puzzles me is how many analysts and mediots say "yeah, Wilson is playing better than any of them right now (2nd year QB's), but for the long term I'd still take Luck."
I wonder what the rationale is?

They don't have any.

Some people will never forsake old habits/standards/stereotypes.

Russell will never fit the physical mold of the stereotype elite NFL QB. He comes up short.

It's simple... Luck fits the mold, Russell doesn't.

Russell Wilson has a Total QBR of 97.0 the last 3 weeks, 17 points higher than anyone else in the NFL.

Dayum
And his QBR is just .6 points higher than Kaepernicks. QBR is garbage.

Like I said, I'm not a fan of it. But I liked what I said in the OP and the quote from Shefter. That is all.
