This one had me rolling. LOL. He ends with the take that Darnold may have brought up the "injury" to bake in an excuse for why he plays so bad Saturday in order to prevent the Hawks from cutting him loose like the Vikings did....................... Because he's scared of the Niners defense. I had to go watch "Alien's are here" videos to get grounded back to reality again.

I just googled. Dimethyl sulfoxide. I knew it was something that sounded like a Jay Electronica song title 😂
We used DMSO as a universal solvent in the (pharmacology) lab I worked in. It also replaced the use of (horribly dangerous) xylene as a clearing agent, in the multi-step process of preparing specimens for immunohistochemistry/microscopy.

Almost everything I’ve seen with journalist etc has been Niners will win etc. looks like they are trying to say it into existence, like, it’s going to be a cakewalk for the Niners. Interesting how this works. Gonna be a sad weekend for the Niners.
Yes, let's all listen to the Jethro Tull album "Living in the Past"

From Schefter about 45 min ago...this isn't good....

Seahawks QB Sam Darnold hasn’t thrown a football since he hurt his oblique Thursday. The Seahawks believe, but don’t know, that he will be OK to start tonight’s game vs. the 49ers. Backup QB Drew Lock took the reps the past two days and is ready if needed.

^^^ in case anyone doesn't get the gif, it's reference to a SMOKESCREEN.

Sam is fine and the Niners are going to find out if Saleh stacks the box.

Do you have an insider in the locker room or training staff? Guessing you do if making that statement.

Not only that, they will likely blitz more. Kubiak better have some blitz beaters ready.

Silver lining….if Sam is hurt it seems better lock had two days of practice instead of being put in mid game with no practice time. The team will rally around who ever is under centre.

True, how bad can Lock be, if all we're asking Sam to do is not turn the ball over. Same would apply for Lock

Who am i kidding , we are f&*cked

God forbid anyone be optimistic about Sam's health.

But noooo...apparently Schefter is the end-all be-all here. 🙄

OK. Is this even a thing?

I think we need to consider the time-line here. He tweaked it Thursday during practice, then decided to 'not push it' and sat out the rest in lieu of treatment. It seemed the plan at that point was to apply treatment and rehab to get ready for Saturday's game.

And what kind of practice was yesterday anyway? Walk through? If the plan was rest/treatment to get ready for today, it does not surprise me at all that Sam didn't throw yesterday (regardless of the severity or lack thereof).
