Trufant actually played well in the one game I saw this year. He got a bum rap around here last year. I'm happy for Tru.

Cannot believe our old buddy couldn't talk his GM into giving us a low draft pick to insure they got Blackmon. This is a good move for Jacksonville. A nice 1-2 yr stopgap until they can build up their talent base. Good luck to Blackmon, his LOB brothers felt it when he was let go. BB has some funny instagrams of him and Blackmon clowning around in the locker room (turns out it was Sherm and Kam's instagrams).

His time here helped him (I believe) with maybe latching on with Jacksonville.

Good. These guys might be able to start there and should get some decent playing time. I will be rooting for Seahawks East except for when they play us.

They are Seahawks east, huh?

Remember when it was the Saints for a while? They took all our defensive mediocrity and speed Erickson built, added Aaron Brooks, and presto a lil playoff run.

Sorry, I blacked out after you mentioned that name. Also, I vomited on myself, so, uh, can you chip in for dry cleaning?

Well, if you can't hire your own version of Schneider, might as well stalk him for a bit.

Reminds me of the Cold War days. The Russkies knew we had them beat with out military technology, so they would literally follow our ships and pick through our trash dumped out at sea - hoping to find any kind of classified info.

Jacksonville - you are now the Russians!

Does that mean they're going to steal Giacomini?

Will an odd fan begin painting Gus Bradley in his underwear like Putin fans do? Does Gus know karate? Does he have to steal a SB ring, or can he earn it?

I can see a lot of this happening, since they are in the AFC also that fast feed internet will be sending our not quite roster guys at least on defense South for a bit, our system and pedigree will be a large help to getting the Jags rolling.

Ha! Beautiful. Could you add a 2nd pipeline to the Jets and a smaller one to the 49ers?

I totally called this before anyone else could see it! - *ignores all other posts that refute that statement* :177692:

This is a do right move for Blackmon. There is not room on the roster, but he still has the talent to play, and cutting him in the first round of cuts gives him extra time to sign elsewhere.

This.

(Thinking Jags or Jets...I think of them every time we cut a player :D ...or the :49ersmall: to a certain extent, but not in this case.)

I wish my instincts were this good with my financial investments! :34853_doh:

Not unexpected at all given Jacksonville is using our scheme as a blueprint and Bradley knows most of our guys (at least for this year but that kind of knowledge runs out of usefulness quickly anyway).
