Made through a game without any major injuries. Bowie got dinged up but was able to come back. Might be a positive sign of getting healthier the rest of the way.
It's amazing how fans evaluate individual performances in team sports. So much of what leads to individual success is rooted in team success. The result is prevalent attitudes like this one, or another recent post stating that "Ron Rivera was holding the Panthers back" for the first part of the season. Apparently you succeed as a team but fail as an individual, unless maybe you are a QB then you can also succeed as an individual.thebanjodude":245nesh1 said:Unger hasn't played like an All-Pro center this year.
Are you saying that coaches don't evaluate individual performances in team sports? And are you disagreeing with the Rivera statement? Rivera did make mistakes that can be argued to cost his team wins. To his credit, he seems to have fixed them.AgentDib":nsuc905m said:It's amazing how fans evaluate individual performances in team sports. So every individual on an 8-1 team is a great player?Apparently you succeed as a team but fail as an individual, unless maybe you are a QB then you can also succeed as an individual.

Don't recall Unger ever snapping so low like this last season. Definitely seems that something's bothering Unger such that it is difficult for him to snap the ball to arrive at the QB at a normal height.
