I always say hello. Hate the ninnirs perhaps but people can be people. I'd probably ask him if he realized someone changed his shirt to a Niners one. Probably would have got a laugh and had some conversation.

I'm all the time talking to people with other team affiliation stickers on the back window of their cars/pickups. Never had a confrontation over it but had some great conversations. Oregon fans are the ones I feel the worst for. I mean even you fans have to admit that big green O is just plain ugly. Never met a fan that didn't admit to that.

Hey,,,sports fans is sports fans.

So what choice did you make?

I've been through that airport twice. The first time coincidentally was while the 2011/12 NFCCG was going on against the Giants because the Airforce sent me to my annual simulator refresher at McChord that started the next day. I flew there and walked through the airport while wearing a Niner hat, and wasn't bugged once about it. It ended up raining that day, and actually there was snow EVERYWHERE as apparently you guys just got slammed by a severe ice storm. Anyways I ended up watching the Giants kick the game "losing" field goal in the BX on the base. That was the only part of the game I got to watch.

The second time was for the same reason a few months ago. Didn't wear any Niner gear that time though, but observed others that did who were passing through and didn't notice them getting haggled either.

I imagine there is someone from every team in the league coming/going through SeaTac everyday.

Just why exactly is that a problem?

You think that's bad? Hell one time we met Johnny Mac & Trish, (Hawkboi & Mizhawk), at our airport and had lunch while they waited for a transfer to a BSU game. They were in full Boise State gear but its just an airport. lol

Of course if you haven't met Trish you couldn't know any guy would walk barefoot over broken glass for a chance to see her. :D

More of a playful thing. The sad thing with all fans is there are those select few who make the rest look bad. Primarily those who hold onto peds or off field bad publicity

Good way to aproach it ZagHawk. Hey everyone, lets be cool here, I want the Hawks to win it all this year, us long time fans deserve it, lets do it with class. This rivalry with the 9ers is great but lets all be the bigger person... no violence or needless bs. I love the rivalry thats building with SF, I just want us 12s to keep it classy.

I feel like yanking the 49ers cap off my grandson's head everytime I see him but I don't because I'm the grandma and I'm supposed to teach sportsmanship and class. I did hide him on FB though because of his nasty posts about the Seahawks.

I like to think that very few adults would actually go out of their way to make someone feel unwelcome in that situation. My best friend is a SoCal resident and die hard Niner fan. There is a difference between being a fan and being an ass.

Unfortunately my grandson is in the second category.

My wife's family lives in Springfield, IL and so at least once a year I fly into St Louis when we go visit them - you'd better believe that I always go decked out in Hawks gear - Nobody ever gives me crap about it though.

You should told the nearest TSA agent that you overheard him talking about a bomb and some drugs

Just be grateful he didn't hit on you.

Yeah. Because then you'd have to pour your latte' on him and then belt out "Smells Like Team Spirit" in his face.

Because, you know, everyone around here drinks coffee and listens to grunge. Get it?

Burn? Naw. That was lame.

I ran into a truck driver once that was sporting a niner jacket and hat and tried to get some good natured smack talk going and it just fizzled out with the dude. Iirc, I had to remind him who his QB was.

Besides that and as I went my way, I figured that yeah, I bet he's probably gay.

Now this is funny! True but funny... You should be in Seattle when BSU Plays Washington... I bet we have a good time in the Airport arriving then... Also, all around Seattle for a few days, especially with BSU Flags flying from the car...... However, just to be safe I'll wear my quick change Seahawks Shirt if there are any problems... Just like magic everything will be good...:th2thumbs:
