In this weeks episode. It's a very good segment, one I'll rewatch a few times. Richard gives back ground on his film watching, his game strategy, there's film from the practice field with Sherman helping out the other DBs with reads and positioning. I great inside look.

Good watch indeed. I wonder who was the #37 he was talking to though? They're not on the official 53.
37 is (was) Blackmon. We cut him and Jacksonville picked him up.

Oh yeah. He also made a huge play to seal the first win for the Jags this season.

Film was from training camp. That's why Blackmon was there. Cool video, thx for the link.

Great video. Not only does this team have a ton of heart and resilience - not only are they physical, they are extremely cerebral as well. Sherm, ET, MikeRob and Wilson to name a few.

I don't think any other team out there has all of these traits like our Seahawks do.

On a scale of 1 to 10, the Hawks are:

Heart/Resilience: 12
Physicality: 10
Intelligence: 10

A team like the Patriots:

Heart/Resilience: 8
Physicality: 5
Intelligence: 8

A certain divisional foe:

Heart/Resilience: 7
Physicality: 8
Intelligence: 6

This dude is special. I saw it when he first stepped foot on the field and he continues to get better and better

This IMO is what separates the great DB's from the average DB's.

The greats like Mike Haynes, Deon, Darrell Green, Rod Woodson, etc were so smart and technically sound that they'd bait the QB into THINKING that the WR was open. Sherman does this, because he's so smart and prepared that he knows from the formations and situations what route the WR's are running before the play.

Deion Sanders used to bait guys all the time. It was cool hearing him talk about the game, and his obvious knowledge of the game.

Seahawks Richard Sherman: "I don't want to be an island. I want to be a tourist attraction. You come, I take your money and you go."

Gotta love Sherman!
