It's voted from his peers and Richard hasn't spent much time making friends around the NFL.

He deserves to be higher, but boy oh boy is the rest of the league going to get it this year.

The PED situation hurt him a lot. Remember, a lot of the voting for this took place the same time the pro bowl voting took place.

If he has another year in 2013 like he did in 2012 he'll be top 20 at least, and maybe top 10. This is a team of young stars, we need to be patient if we expect them to get national recognition.

Off topic, on my top100 list there seems to be no 49, going from Sherm at 50 to Duane Brown at 48, nfl.com I approve ;)

Justin Houston was 49. Though it should have been "The 12th man"

Thats strange, I'm not watching it live just on nfl.com and there's no 49, I'm taking it as a sign! :D

So the players think there are two better CB's in the league and one of them isn't Revis.

Joke.

then joke-icing on the joke-cake some LB from a 2-14 chiefs team i've hardly heard about goes above him?

then cam newton goes above wilson.

Didn't think he would be 50 but several of us mentioned that he was coming off the unknown list this week, so you knew he was in the 50-41 range. Some didn't want to hear it. I guess Okung doesn't make it but would expect Lynch will. I see 3 rivals come off the unknown list next week so I am sure there will be some dismay after next week's show.

What's even better is that Houston isn't even talked about here it's all Tamba Hali. The Cam ranking is a hairsliver more ridiculous. Houston is good like a more complete Irvin to our Clemons but no way is he above Sherman.

Pro Football Outsiders list is far better this list is all about a popularity contest and what you did 5 years ago.
