They're claiming it's because they've complied throughout the process. They did absolutely hammer SC though.

It's pretty clear the NCAA will hammer a school far more for standing up to them than for what they actually may have done.

Then why not grant SC time off for goid behavior when they asked for it after Penn State was granted it after way less time? Ohio State is already off and they know and can prove Tressel straight up lied.
