My synopsis vs Cards

After the Cards scored their 2nd TD with nearly 25 minutes left on the clock to close the gap to a mere 23 point deficit.... Seattle held the ball for nearly 20 minutes and Arizona just 5.5 minutes. They scored 7 points, we scored 6.

That is as dominant as a 2nd half close out as you can get.

I’m certainly not mad, nor do I believe anyone is.

But I won’t deny that I didn’t feel the same at end of 4th as I did at end of 2nd.

Like I said, the finish robbed a bit of my excitement.

I know that we can’t play full games like we played the 2nd half of this one, or like the 2nd half of Texans and expect to beat the good teams, or win playoff games.

I think it’s Kubiak trying stuff we don’t normally do or going easy. Offense went soft.. flaccid soft. Defense was going hard 90% of the time but the went somewhat limp.

The only thing that irked me was the turnovers. My only complaint. Other than that, what's not to like about a game that was never in doubt by the end of the first quarter?

They won by 22. Zero chance that was ever in doubt. Other than not wanting them to pass on to back drives with a huge lead, I can't fathom not being stoked about today. That was a blast.
Clearly you have a good team when yoh win by 22, and 24 last week and people aren't happy. It's strange, to ME. But that's ok.

I don't understand the criticism of Kubiak. We didn't let our foot off the gas. We turned the ball over. I could understand if we were going three and out on failed running plays on successive drives .. that's not what happened. 2 fumbles and an INT happened.

If anything, there's an argument to be made that we should have started running MORE, earlier than we did. All the pass yards are cute, but at some point they put your o line at a disadvantage if you are passing too much and not letting them fire off the ball.

If we are running more in the 3rd qtr we may not have given AZ the ball twice in our own end.

But we didn't screw up because of Kubiak. We screwed up because we gave up the ball.

I’m not convinced it’s on him necessarily.

I believe it’s more about repetition with the same guy.
Center/QB relationship needs a bit of realtime play to gel.
I suspect that if our #1 is out any length of time that the ball transfer will become smooth.
