My Man Lofa

Already a warm place in our collective hearts, Lofa rocking a classic Sonics jersey. I so wish he had played longer so he could find his way to Canton where he would have belonged.

Was one of my favorite players. I still have his Jersey.

Too bad his career was cut short as he was a highly instinctive MLB.

Wow was I mad when we drafted him. I'm struggling to think of a draft pick we've made that I was more wrong about, positive or negative.

Another one of those "too small to play well" types that proved all the experts wrong. I distinctly remember when Rob Rang posted, "You're gonna love this guy" when most of the other "experts" were panning the pick.

Rang has always been my favorite draft analyst. Cool dude...Met him once in Cheney.

I kinda liked the pick, but I'm from Michigan and usually pull hard for the non-Wolverine prospects. Jason Babin, Dan LeFevour, Antonio Brown, Drew Stanton, Malik McDowell, Kirk Cousins, Kenneth Walker III, among others were all guys I was absurdly high on.

I love Lofa and happy he keeps the Sonic message on the front burner. I just hope he's not buying off the rack as it lines the pocket of that F@*CK Clay Bennett. Rot in hell Aubrey McClendon!
