Play some Skynyrd!!!
There’s levels of fandom.
There’s “casuals” of the current generation of Seattle Seahawks football (fans of Holmgren era, Legion of Boom era, and current).
And then there are “die hards” fans of Chuck Knox era etc…
Many on Dot Net are Chuck Knox era die hard fans!
Yeah. Back then the main reason to watch the Hawks was Zorn to Largent and Herrera's fake field goals. Some of those fake field goals were hilarious. Here's a YouTube video.Pffffffffft! You Chucky Come-Latelies obviously don't remember the glory days of Patera, back when Knox was head coach of the Rams and then the Bills, when you just knew some crazy $#!+ was gonna happen whenever the Seahawks were on MNF. Efren Herrera forever!
Now get off my lawn!
If they stay healthy we'll have plenty of depth.I agree, having Murphy in there has made a huge difference. Even if the dude is soaking up double teams it is helping the rest of the guys. We don't have a lot of depth on the D so here's to those guys staying healthy for the rest of the season.
Having Big Cat and Murphy is the most talent we've had there at once in awhile.
You sound pretty damn educated to meHe last played four years before I began rooting for the team, and I was a kid living three time zones away, but it's still weird. From what I'm reading, it's painfully obvious that Wyman's shining legacy as a two-time playoff game participant who played more than eight games in three of six seasons for a team that was almost never on TV, should have transcended the technological limits of the time and made him ubiquitous in national media, and not just in sports.
On PFR's franchise rankings in Approximate Value, Wyman ranks 92nd at 30 AV, tied with franchise phenoms Darryl Williams, Nick Bebout, and Rick Mirer, and just one point behind Germaine "To Every Conversation About Greatness" Ifedi. I was hoping to have a good day today, but now I'm going to be tormented with the newfound realization that I missed out on the otherworldly career of the Rick Mirer of middle linebackers.
Efren Herrera was amazing. I only saw videos of him. They changed the rules cause of himPffffffffft! With all your superfluous adjectives and horrendous hyperbole, you still miss the point. Dave Wyman is beloved and well known around here because we listen to him on the radio everyday as we drive home from work on 710AM…He last played four years before I began rooting for the team, and I was a kid living three time zones away, but it's still weird. I didn't miss the point, I was just being a smart-ass to the two posters who made disparaging remarks questioning my fandom. With all your superfluous adjectives and horrendous hyperbole, you still miss the point.
