This Seahawks-Raiders trade proposal sends Josh Jacobs to Seattle

Seattle could offer their third-round pick and a fifth-round pick via the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 2023 NFL Draft in exchange for Jacobs. Las Vegas would be happy to get some draft capital in exchange for Jacobs instead of potentially losing him for nothing in free agency next year. The Seahawks would have a dominant running back duo to lean on throughout the season, just as Carroll likes it.

No. Jacobs is a nice RB, but not worth trading for when we already have K9 on our team. Good RBs can be had in the middle rounds of the draft.

It would probably take a 2nd round pick to acquire him, and he would be on the sideline most of the time. Waste of resources. We could significantly improve our team using that pick on a position of need like OC, WR, OG, DE, DT, S, CB, or next in line TE.

Just draft Charbonnet in the second or someone a bit later (I like Chase Brown out of Illinois).

This team is not close enough to justify using draft capital on a one-year rental.

I'm not saying how it would play out. I'm not advocating for trading a 2nd for Jacobs and his 10M contract.

My take is that finding an outstanding back half way through the draft is pretty tough . This past season Seattle was once again injured at RB and they suffered. Seattle is supposed to be a run first team and they need 2 solid RBs.

The way you responded to my post, was like you wanted to trade for him. Then I asked you on how trading for would play out and you can't because it doesn't make sense. At least provide a solution to improve our RB depth. If you are going to debate, have a solution to the problem. Take some time and look at the top-15 rated RBs in this draft and then you will have a better idea of how to attack the RB depth.

We all know we need better depth at RB, but again there are good RBs in the 3rd and 4th round. I think you just need to take the time and watch the RB prospects.

So you want to complain about a problem with no possible legit solution? Your solution does matter if you are trying to debate someone. Your take about us needing better depth at RB is the same as every Seahawks fan.
