He pretty much rag dolled the Colts interior O line the entire game. Glad he's on our side

Good call, he is one strong dude. On the post game, they talked about how Norton changed from 2 DT's to 3, and it made a huge difference stopping the run. I'm not a Norton fan at all, but they absolutely DID make some adjustments.
Mone is just one of those solid football players that quietly does his job, and well.

I was particularly happy that they made the adjustment after the first drive, and not at halftime, like it seems to have happened in the past.

I usually don't worry too much about the first drive. Teams prep for that all week. What matters is that they learn from what happens then and make adjustments quickly.

Oh, and I've liked Mone since he got here. He, and Poona, and Big Al Woods make for a great rotation and like you said, put them all in there and the middle is pretty well shut down for the run. Plus they can get some push and penetration.

I even liked the encroachment penalty he took. He made it worth something as Wentz was knocked on his butt as a result.

Stout game. Locking down the middle makes heroes out of edge rushers.

The interior line is formidable with Mone, Ford and Woods.

It's unfortunate that line coaches don't receive more recognition. Clint Hurtt has done one heck of a job. And,bringing back a vet like Woods was genius.

Loved that ! He sent that center flying back into Wentz who had to "take a seat" was hilarious.

Mone has a good fast twitch and alot of power.

Cheers

I guess we know now why they were so worried about letting Jarran Reed walk.

Perhaps Clint Hurtt figured that since he coached Reed up into his best year ever, he can do it again.

Can you imagine that line if we could've also signed Atkins?

I wouldn't be surprised if we have him on speed-dial, and he shows up soon.
