Following the 2021 season. 4 years.
The second year.So when they changed the format to have only one team with a bye?
Was that when the fix was in and they didn't call the obvious opi on the Rams vs Saints? The Rams played the MNF game in the playoffs the year we won the Super Bowl.
I think the 4/5 seeds in the NFC play on MNF.

Ok..wrong fix...No. That was the Super Bowl we won - that game was v the Cards.
2021 playoffs.
Why?By the way, what a shocker that they made the Texans v Chargers the early Saturday game.![]()
Because that's where they always put the least sexy wildcard matchup. The Saturday early game is the redheaded stepchild of wildcard slots. Why?
It's the f**k Dean Spanos rule. If his team make the playoffs they have to play on the East Coast in the 10:00 spot on Saturday to make it as hard for them as possible. Why?
I'm good with it as well. Generating extra revenue whilst minimising the risk to players is a good thing. I'm also a big fan of having the #7 seed play at the #2 seed. Those 2 extra playoff games generate a huge amount of revenue for just 2 more games.I actually don't mind it all. I've enjoyed having the Monday night playoff game, and I'll enjoy it a week from now as well.
I don't mind not having the earlier Saturday game either; frees up my Saturday morning before settling in to watch some football.
