I believe last year was the first year. It's odd for sure. Why not 3 on Saturday, 3 on Sunday. $$$$ is my guess. Lame though.

Should be 3 Saturday, 3 Sunday. Morning game, early afternoon game and a night game each day.

Somehow, someway it relates to more $$$ in the NFL's pockets.

I actually don't mind it all. I've enjoyed having the Monday night playoff game, and I'll enjoy it a week from now as well.

I don't mind not having the earlier Saturday game either; frees up my Saturday morning before settling in to watch some football.

I do like that the Rams play Monday night. I'll be able to just have it on my phone, on silent, so I don't have to have listen to them gob on McVay all night.

By the way, what a shocker that they made the Texans v Chargers the early Saturday game. 🙄

It's the f**k Dean Spanos rule. If his team make the playoffs they have to play on the East Coast in the 10:00 spot on Saturday to make it as hard for them as possible.

It's an excellent rule.

I'm good with it as well. Generating extra revenue whilst minimising the risk to players is a good thing. I'm also a big fan of having the #7 seed play at the #2 seed. Those 2 extra playoff games generate a huge amount of revenue for just 2 more games.

He who pays the piper (the Networks) call the tune but it does go against the plans to expand interest into Europe.

An Early Sunday game would be 6pm kick off for me which is perfect, instead I sleep though a game which starts at 1am Tuesday morning.
