Better them then myself it's too much of a toss up for my taste. I could have taken Atlanta but I don't want to use them so year because the NFC South always flip-flops year to year so it's not shocking that Atlanta is a factor again.

I like your thinking. I believe Atlanta is going to be a really good team all season. So I'm going with who I think are the weaker teams first few weeks. Hopefully that strategy works out. We'll see.

Got a suggestion for those left.

Put in your pick then list below teams used.

So for me Week 3.
Pick: Indy
Used: Houston
Let's make that a rule guys given I'm a bit more busy then when I started this it would be immensely helpful to me.:)

Probably, won't happen but I think the two people who picked the Vike, which I was one of, should have a second chance.

I would have never went with the Vikes had I not know they would lose their best player 2-3 days later after I made the pick.

Fair enough Pandion you get a Mulligan since it is my game and one person that won is no longer in the game. No more chances though deal?

Fair enough my ass, that's how eliminators go. You pick a team and either they lose or they win; or do I need to start preparing an excuse for why I shouldn't have lost whenever the weekend comes that my pick doesn't win?

Meh, my reason was clear so deal with it.

Going forward I would say you can change your pick up UNTIL kickoff for the Thursday night game.

But Mizzou decides

Going forward picks must be locked in by 12am PST Saturday it's only because Lxx was banned that I allowed Pandion back in. With that said I'm going with Miami over Kansas City. Previous pick was Houston.

Cool thanks for understanding Mizzou... even though I got back in on a technicality of someone else dropping out.

To be honest though, I love ballsy picks... my other choice I was contemplating last week was actually Bears over 49ers.

And Roland... ofcourse you can make any excuse as to why a team loses... but in my case the Vikings lost its best player like a day before the game, a deactivation no one saw coming, it wasn't like Peterson was hobbled and I had to 2nd guess his injury... And again we are talking about Adrian Peterson... he is like 3/4ths of the Viking's offensive success. So had I known he wasn't going to be able to play, then obviously I would have made a smarter choice than an upset over Patriots.

So, if I'm back in this thing according to Mizzou:

BILLS OVER CHARGERS

Hey Pandion, go back a few years and tell my fantasy league commissioner that I should have gotten some extra wins because I drafted Brady the year he went down for the season in the first quarter of the first game with an ACL tear. Patriots lost their best player, IT ISN'T FAIR!

:)

I'm just giving you crap, nothing personal; but also making a little bit of a point, too.

I get your point and I would have been perfectly fine with Mizzou's decision either way, I just thought there was a chance to reason given my circumstances.

Also, I don't think your example was a great comparison at all.

1) Had Adrian Peterson been injured during the game...I would not have any argument what-so-ever... and I would have kept my mouth shut and jumped off the cliff.

2) But Adrian Peterson wasn't injured in the game, he was deactivated well after my decision to pick the Vikings, again had I known the best RB in the NFL, the best talent on the Vikings would have not been available I sure as hell would have never made the pick.

3) I'm thinking you lost Brady in 2008, technically weren't you given a chance to repair that damage? You surely had other QBs on your roster and I'm sure you could have gotten Matt Cassel if you were smart about it.

But still... two entirely different games with two entirely different circumstances... non comparable.

Well it is looking pretty dim for my chances to survive in this contest. That's what I get for choosing the Cowboys....lesson learned. Good luck to those still in the contest!

OMG!!!!! The Rams turned into the Lambs after halftime and succumbed. Never thought that would happen. Tale of two halves. I guess I'm still breathing in the contest. Doesn't feel right somehow though :). At least I don't have to worry about choosing the Cowboys anymore....

That stupidity by the Rans cost me the office pool. Annoyed - real money on the line there. Regardless of the last two games I end up second.

Rams going for it instead of kicking 3 and dropping Td by cook.

Oh well good thing SF and St. Louis lost.

Dodged a bullet there, thanks to the Jets offense! At some point this will all go horribly wrong.

Week 3 ahead!
