I kinda don't really care, I think he may be a guy we'll miss when Marshawn has a lousy half, but I know PC and JS have a better plan,I would only freak out if we cut Chazz Whitehurst.

Like many people have said. I'll miss his off the field contributions. He is replaceable. But I'm not sure if we will replace his leadership.

Overrated leadership is, yes.

Don't like this but the move makes a lot of sense from a money and personnel standpoint.

Coleman played well, is cheaper, and we get to keep him and Ware with this move.

Just doesn't feel good to loose a guy that everyone seems to get a long with in the locker room and by all accounts has not declined at all since we got him.

I bet he comes back when he's over his virus on a more team friendly deal.

The Seahawks should of tried to trade him to the Jets or Bills; I heard they were looking for a Quarterback.

A lot of arguments can be made one way or the other, but there isn't a lead blocker on the squad that does it as well as Robinson. So I have to expect that the iso 2 back sets are on the way out. It's going to be a new look offense this year.

LoL people better get used to this kind of thing in the next couple of years. Players production that can be reproduced on the cheap will get cut fast. Outside of the RRR being fun to watch sometimes, need the cap space for key positions not a sick fullback.

The locker room thing is way over blown. Someone else will step in to fill the void, they always do. I remember when Lofa was released and the fans were worried about the leadership on defense. Well that turned out OK and pretty much overnight.

Maybe it was the RRR that had Christine M. rapping about smoking pot that did it...
Say what you want, but with all the suspensions, that didn't look very good.

Hey Mike, we totally appreciate everything you have done... but, your sick and you can't start, and even though we don't need to free up cap space we are dropping you. If you get better we might bring you back later.

Ya I know that Ware and Coleman didn't look very good, even against the Raiders, but we are the Seahawks, and we need everyone to know that we will absolutely under no circumstances show any loyalty. It's all about the winning my friend, you understand it's a business. Ya I understand you were a critical part of the team, but we just can't pay you the 2.5 mil.

You think the players don't look at this and say, "sheesh, these guys aren't going to get a team discount when my contract comes up."

Ok, it's over dramatic on purpose, but sheesh, come on Hawks.

Damn.

In the old days, we would tear up our Nordstrom cards and throw them on the sidewalk fronting the store. But we didn't win many SBs in the old days, either.

I don't like this move at all.

First, I think he was about the closest thing we had to being a leader on the offense. Now, RW needs to really step it up in that dept.. I want to see him get vocal and pissed ala Manning and/or Brady.

Second: I felt having Robinson would allow us to cut Quinn (with complete confidence).

Third: How is Lynch going to react to this? I dread the thought of him reverting back to his less than excellent demeanor. I am very concerned about the O line and don't see how letting MRob walk will open more holes for us. Ware is going to just step in and replace Robinson?? Turbin's no FB and neither is Michael.

I guess this is what it feels like to be a true contender. Good luck to you Mike and I hope you are not missed. Let's hope you're right on this one, Pete.

Damn this sucks! I hope he re-signs with us if teams don't show any interest, kinda like Vontae Leach did after the Ravens cut him.

If it is true that Mike Robinson has been cut it will be the first move made by John and Pete that I have 100% hated. I realize that there are cap savings that can carry over into next year to help us re-sign some guys. However, this team's offensive identity is power football with Lynch running behind Mike Rob and this release would have the potential to severly undermine that. Neither Coleman nor Ware showed me in the preseason that they are ready for that role full time or can do it nearly as well as Mike Rob did. An awful decision in my opinion if it is true.

Have you all ever thought maybe a FB isn't a big role in our offense going forward? Just sayin.
