Lawrence has never been paid $55M or more in any year in the NFL. If he sees out his contract in 2030 he still won't have been paid $55M or more in any NFL year. It's a completely bullshit number. I don't want to be snarky with you or anyone else, but if someone uses that garbage to make a point, then they probably don't have a point.
Trevor Lawrence pay:
2024 $39M
2025 $37.5M
2026 $37.5M
2027 $41.5M
2028 $46.5M
2029 $50.5M
2030 $53.841M
$55M per year average? lmao.
...and again, the reason QB pay is so high is because pay at the bottom end has gone up by a much lower percentage than the increase in the salary cap. If minimum pay was linked to the increase in salary cap then teams wouldn't be spending so much cash on the top players.
