Watt is getting a fully guaranteed $108M over 3 years, ($36M average per year). His 4th year is a non-guaranteed $36M.
Garrett is getting $125.6M over 4 years which is "effectively" guaranteed*, ($31.4M average per year). Technically there are expensive 'outs' after each of the 1st 3 years, (1@$59.3M, 2@$98M, and 3@$122.8M). Year 5 would be $40M, (of which $800K is included in the $125.6M figure).
* I say "effectively" guaranteed because if Garrett looks like a 'less than $19M per year player' after 2025 then the smart move is to cut him rather than commit another $39M. Then again, it's the Browns. Suffice to say I don't like the structure of this contract.
Parsons is expecting a higher average than Watt.
