Totally agree. Defense wins championships. Seattle has a great defense right now and a downright terror squad if we make this deal.

Jerry is probably going to ask for a hell of a lot though.

It's also fun to think MMac feels like the team is better as-is. (Including future draftees).

Either way, the season is pointing up.

My point is that we haven't seen the starting DL. We don't know the packages MMac has swirling in his head ... yet. The D was good last year. It's different this year and potentially better. We know Seattle has a seat at the table for Parsons. If it turns out to be too expensive, that's great news too. It just shows the confidence MMac has in his current assets, scheme and future draftees. It's like standing pat in 5 card draw. "Nah, I'm good. I don't need any cards."
