NEW ANGLE of the incident.

Some SUGGEST that the Fan called him a racial slur (The N-Word).

But the bigger thing is what the fk the Police officer was doing there?

The biggest why the FK did DK go out of his way to go after the fan

His opponents, the other team are baiting by saying far worse, because everyone knows he will bit

What did he say, that excuse DK behavior? “Yo, those stealers uniforms are ass, and you have sucked since leaving Seattle?”

Of course it’s entirely possible the fan said nothing much, but DK saw someone with blue hair, and had ptsd from his time living in Seattle. And decided to strike first, rather that listening to anything the blue haired person had to say.
Detroit has blue in their uniforms and they were in Detroit.

Notice the lady with the ID around her neck behind the guy?

Is she supposed to be an usher?

If she is, isn't it her job to get the fan out of there?

Not excusing DK but that's just weird.

He reached for the fan; if he punched the fan, the fan wouldn't be standing.

Our boy needs to take an anger management program b/c he’s easily angered to physical retaliation.

Kind of a dumb ass IMO. Am pglad JS decided to move on from him, must say didn’t initially think so.

@AROS forgive my language here but :

WHAT IN THE ACTUAL F*CK?

The #Lions fan involved in the incident with DK Metcalf told The Detroit Free Press that he called Metcalf by his full name — DeKaylin Zecharius Metcalf — which prompted Metcalf to react the way he did."

I called him that, and then he grabbed me and ripped my shirt. I'm a little shocked. Like everyone's talking to me. I'm a little rattled, but I just want the Lions to win, baby."

So all the fan did was call him by his full name and DK went off the deep end? HUH???

I don't quite buy it. He had to have said something ELSE that prompted what he did.

no way that simply calling him by his name would trigger that response.

Given his history, a suspension is possible.

As I stated before.. why the hellos he that far away from his team to begin with ya know? Cuz at that angle that’s quite the distance to be.

Definitely should be charges pressed AND a warrant issued

If that doesn’t happen it’s complete 🐂💩
I don't know how the judge will look at the 'victim' given how he celebrated after he got DK to swing...

I see two idiots in that picture. Money doesn't make one smarter than the other.

Why did he (Metcalf) even walk over there? Idiot
Good point.

Not that I agree with his actions, but Metcalf claims that the fan called him a racial slur, and if that's true, I can understand why he'd want to confront the fan.

Of course, the fan tells a different story, that all he did was call him by his given name. And honestly, one would have to be pretty damn stupid to shout out a racial slur loud enough so that a player 25' or so away from him could hear it. I mean, there was a black person standing right behind him. But then again, there are a lot of stupid people on this planet.

It depends on how it was said, tone of voice, pronunciation, etc. Teasing people about their name is a common bullying tactic. Not that it excuses Metcalf's reaction to it, but it would explain why he responded the way he did.

Knew it was just a matter of time before he started to go full AB. You can bounce an idiot out of your city, but a change of scenery will never bounce the idiot out of an idiot.

Unless that fan did something to physically endanger DK or a teammate, he had zero reason to walk over there and do what he did. Thay behavior is unacceptable. Anyone of us would be fired immediately if we did that at our jobs.

I can guarentee that is not the first or last time he's been, or will be called a racial slur his his life if that's indeed what happened. As a person of color, i can tell you, you're taught to ignore that sh*t and keep it rolling, unless you're in physically danger. Especially when you're at a status of an NFL player. Why you worried about what some peeon in the stands says?

Now yet again, another of his teams will have to suffer the consequences of his childish on field antics. Because he will get a suspension, and fine. He is the absolute worst type of teammate to have.
