And that's on top of the $1/4M Metcalf stands to lose in salary as his suspension is w/o pay.

If he hasn't already, Metcalf will appeal his suspension and the player's union will get involved as it involves the Personal Conduct Policy that was negotiated in the CBA.

Given the huge amount of financial consequences that's on the line for Metcalf, the arbitrator might take that clause in his contract into consideration and conclude that the punishment doesn't fit the crime, that it's excessive.

Upheld, now the second aspect, DK has not performed up to expectations, does he lose his signing bonus and other revenue due to his conduct as well as maybe a voided contract due to this? Steelers can play hard ball now and wash their hands of Pickens er I mean Metcalf.
