If that means parting ways with K9 I'm all for it. He had 7 yards/carry and does it every game he plays. Him and Charbs look like a perfect 1 2 punch.
What did you see that makes you think charbs is "the guy" of the future? I'm curious as to why folks think charbs is better? While I agree in principle, Charbs IMO has proven that he can be "the guy" for the future. If we keep all 3 backs next season there will be a bit of a logjam and MacIntosh will still be the #3/change of pace back.
With a new OC we'll see going forward. I believe Coach Mac wants the RBs more involved with the running game, so we should see a boost in RB usage going forward, making more chances, even for the #3 guy.
I actually like this scenario. RB is one of the few places on the team where we have enough depth to actually have a player to offer that has value in a trade. I'm pretty comfortable with the idea of trading Walker and having Charbs and McIntosh as our 1 and 2 in whatever order the coaches feel is best.Walker has a lot of talent, but in injury prone problem. I think if McIntosh gets more touches, then Charb steps up and maybe Walker becomes a casualty via trade.
Dare I say we should seriously look at trading Walker?Walker has a lot of talent, but in injury prone problem. I think if McIntosh gets more touches, then Charb steps up and maybe Walker becomes a casualty via trade.
