I've said it before, but Unger, while very good technically, gets out-physicalled (beat up) regularly. He's a fine center to be sure (overrated by some folks around here), but the drop off between he and LJP is not significant.

All I'm saying is that the team shouldn't feel like they have to rush Unger back.

Weren't you the guy saying what a mistake it was to not resign Spencer?
What's he doing these days?
I'll tell you...
He's a back up on his 3rd team.

MysterMatt...you should go back and watch the game again. We'd better rush Unger back.

When I read... [insert player name] gets "out physicalled" I read: "poster watches too much NFL Network / ESPN. Those guys throw that term around like it is blow in the 92-95 Cowboys locker room.

Unger is playing good but not great so far this year.

Yeah I hear he had an injury.

Ah, c'mon, he should be able ta play with one arm without any dropoff! He is just suddenly mediocre in the prime of his all-pro career...no 'excuses' stats don't lie! He got out-physicalinated

Myster Matt has hated unger from day 1, anyone really think it's going to change now? If we are overrating him, what are the voters doing who voted him all pro last year?

Unger's presence on the line will be more of a cerebral advantage than it will be an athletic one.

I think we can deal with a guy working a correct blocking assignment and is beaten. It's when a blocking assignment is missed that is the killer.

First of all, I"m very glad he's back,

But.. I don't know if his wrist is still bothering him, but
he is the worst snapper I have seen.

His snaps lack the pace to reach RW, they are so slow.
I am sure a lot of you play some sort of sport and one of the most frustrating thing ever is to wait on the ball because its so slow.
I mean you are ready to go.. ready to put the game in motion and then.. wait and wait.

I'm watching poor RW sit back there and by the time the ball arrives, usually at his feet, the DL is on him, yeah ok.. the OL is hurt but still.

If Unger could snap the ball at some pace, Wilson would have a helluva lot more time to start the play.

Sorry, just got frustrating watching this over and over.

"Hate" is a wee bit overboard, but recall that when I first criticized him, he was playing RG. Recall also that he was punked like a prison wench as a RG. As a center, he's good, but overrated, in my OPINION, and if you don't like it then feel free. I'd point out that he got abused more than a few times tonight, but feel free to make excuses.
