This Ketel Marte trade seems was going to happen, the only problem, was Arizona wanted Cole Young in the deal..

I would have made that deal. Marte is a proven player and top at his position. Cole Young hasn't shown anything yet. The team has plenty of players to replace Marte (once his career is done).

We'll miss Polanco a little, but it's a better lineup than opening day 2025 with the additions of Naylor, Donovan and Refsnyder. The stats for Robles and Raley are not in line with their career OPS because they were both injured and missed most of 2025.

Robles should be on the opening day line up. I believe Robles > Raley.

Yes, you're right. It could be Donovan at 2B. I don't think Colt Emerson makes the team, though. With the surplus of outfielders, I can see Dipoto trading one for an infielder. (You heard it here first!)

He's one of the reasons why I believe Cole Young is expendable. Also there's Arroyo and Celestin behind Emerson too. That's why I would have made the trade for Marte.
