You know, if we had won tonight, I'd have been *okay* with the road trip so far. 3-3 and a half game out of 1st place, and at least a chance to end it on a good note against a good Philly team. The difference between being reasonably content and frustrated is just that close in baseball sometimes.

And, of course, about the only time the national media pays attention to us (besides Cal) is on the Sunday game of the week, and us losing to a New York team on ESPN's front page.

Well, that sucked. Kirby picked a bad night to start doing crack.

More nerf bats, oh wait...congrats Cal on #47.

At least it's a short hop to Philly, but these East Coast trips are killers. I hope this is the last one.

Saucedo looked fairly sharp, at least, and Kowar was kind of so-so, not terrible.

Actually listening to Julio talk to the kid live during the game is pretty rad
40 games left, in the middle of a pennant race and the team signs up to talk to kids during a borderline must win game. Silly to me. Focus on the game going on, have a game plan.
Mariners were affected more than the Mets it was a terrible game to watch couldn't even watch it all.
