They are also hitting a lot of bad pitches. Getting jammed and still getting a hit, golfing that last one out of the dirt, etc.

Welp, nighty night.

Rough game for Kirby. Waaay too many pitches in the middle of the zone. Not gonna get away with that against a lineup like the Mets for long.

Our outfield defense sucks. We all know Candzone is pretty awful. Arozarena is below average and Julio allows so many balls to drop around him.

Both Julio and Arozarena could have gotten those balls. They weren’t easy, but they definitely were catchable.

There's the poor outfield D again.

That's pretty awful to call off the RF that was in good position to make the catch, only to drop the ball.
