Just watched his post game interview. You can tell this kid just flat out LOVES to play the game. You can tell he has contagious enthusiasm. That is all.

The last week of August is going to be "heartbreak" time for the Seahawks. However, the other teams in the NFC West will be licking their chops!

The depth on this team is sick.

First team O & D looked like First team O & D in the first preseason game of the year. Nothing great, but everything is vanilla so no worries there.

Lots of nice performances tonight from the backups and rooks fighting for jobs.

Tarvaris won the backup QB spot tonight.

I'd like to see T-Jack with the ones against their ones. I doubt Russell will skip a beat, and won't suffer much from the lost reps.

Number 2 QB definitely looks wrapped up, unless Quinn pulls off something spectacular.

I was impressed with Lotu tonight. Looked very solid on both D and special teams. If he keeps it up he could legitimately win a spot on the 53 as the backup Will LB to KJ Wright, esp. with Irvin out for the first 4 games and thus the Hawks being able to carry an extra OLB to begin the season (and Malcolm Smith having to focus on the Sam LB spot with Irvin out).

Man I hope he makes it. He has a good nose for the ball. Always love it when at least one of my polynesian bros makes the Hawks. Need someone to take Lofa's place.

My wife's sister grew up in Hawaii and is big in politics over there now, so I like to keep my eye out for people of polynesian heritage playing for us :) (He was born there). We have a considerable fan base over there (including my sister-in-law of course!).

I actually got Manu Tuiasosopo's autograph when I was a teenager (pretty sure Samoan counts as polynesian, dunnit?). Another great Seahawk and nice guy as well.

He looked like Troy P at linebacker, the way he ran and his intensity.

I was impressed by him. His intensity will be intoxicating, we definitely need to keep him.

He did remind me of Troy flying around out there, but Troy rarely over runs plays like that and whiffs on the ball carrier.

He was usually where he had to be, but cost us on a couple of plays. He also doesn't mind sticking his nose in there and jamming up the line. With some experience I think he could be decent, and he plays well on ST already

The kid has speed and shows a lot of tenacity/heart. However, I thought his play was mediocre at best. I'll admit I didn't watch him every snap, but when I did, he didn't really wait for the play to develop at times and shot the gaps way too soon.
