With the Senior Bowl a week away I thought why not post a Seahawks mock draft. I'm only doing the first five rounds in this mock draft. I focused on the trenches in this mock, this is a good year to do it.

1st round #18 - (OG/OT) Wyatt Milum 6'6" 317 lbs, West Virginia: Milum is the one of the most, if not the most, fun lineman to watch. He is physical in the run game, he likes to impose his will on defensive players in the run game. He looks a fairly athletic, he holds other teammate offensive lineman accountable, having listen to him in an interview you can tell he loves football. He would be a starter at LG day 1. He hasn't given up a sack in the last three years and only gave up 6 hurries this year. Milum was one of highest graded offensive lineman, by PFF, in this draft. He has the second highest grade on PFF.

2nd round # - (DT/DE) Alfred Collins 6'5" 320 lbs, Texas: Collins is a big athletic DT that can play NT and DE on a 3-4 defense. He looks to have great agility for his size and moves more like a DE. He is raw as a pass rusher but he has a ton of upside. Collins could play NT, which would enable Byron Murphy to kick out to DE to provide more as a pass rush.

3rd round #82 - (QB) Will Howard 6'4" 235 lbs, Ohio State: Howard, for me is QB#3 or maybe #2 in this draft, and the one QB I would target in this draft. Howard throws with good touch and anticipation. He doesn't take a lot a lot of sacks, he has a lot of playing experience, and he has size and athletic ability to run if the play breaks down.

4th round #136 - (CB) Nohl Williams 6'1" 200 lbs, Cal: Williams has good ball skills and is fairly physical for a CB. He would give us good depth at CB. He has apparently been a standout at the Shrine Game practices. Williams had seven interceptions this past year.

5th round #173 - (OT) Hollin Pierce 6'8" 344 lbs, Rutgers: Pierce is a RT only prospect, but he is a monster in the run game. I don't trust Abe Lucas will ever play a full season so I think Pierce can come in as a rookie and give us depth at RT. He only gave up one sack this past season.

Looks great! I perfer Jaxon Dart as my mid round flyer at QB but Will Howard is solid too. Nice work.

I like this draft. I can go Will Howard or Jaxson Dart as a QB we pick up in this draft. I'd even add McCord to the list. I like Collins a lot. Have heard a lot about Milum but haven't seen him play yet, I only hear great things though.

this is a SOLID mock, but I expect nothing less from Mr Bowtie. I'd be elated.

I'm very high on Milum; he honestly seems about perfect for us. It really surprises me when I see mocks that don't even have him going in the first round, but I suspect once the draft gets closer, his stock will probably be anywhere in the teens.

I like the players.

1st Round: I love Milum! He is highly rated with gap blocking and zone blocking. He didn't give up much pressure and didn't give up many sacks this season. He only measured with 32'' arms though at the Senior Bowl. My only real question is do teams view him as an OT? If so, then I do think some teams might take a chance on him in the 1st round. If not, he might fall to the 2nd. Milum is actually one of "my guys" that I feel really strongly about. Especially at Guard.

2nd Round: I'm a fan of Collins. I also think there are a bunch of dudes this year with that type of build. Tall, heavy, and with great length. You also have some China-Bull guys like Jordan Phillips from Maryland. That sweet spot for DL might be in the 2nd - 3rd rounds. It's a pretty loaded class. You might be able to get a steal in the 3rd though.

3rd Round: I'm torn on Will Howard. He played great this season and particularly in the College Playoffs. He elevated his game. Is that really him though? He struggled with accuracy throughout his college career but he did improve every season. With Kubiak's system mirroring the Shanahan system, it does make the QB's life easier. In fact, Kubiak didn't even have Derek Carr make line calls at the L.O.S. It was the Center's responsibility. I do think Howard can run Kubiak's system because he can push the ball down the field. What is going to make or break Howard is how is his mid-range game? With Kubiak on board, the options for QBs do open up. Kyle McCord reminds me of a mini Kirk Cousins.

4th Round: I don't know Nohl Williams that well but it looks like he excels more in press than zone. Mac's system requires CB to drop in zone a lot. I like the profile and the player. I do question the fit. Williams seems like a very solid player though. He has the makings of a steady-eddy CB2 type.

5th Round: I am very curious to see what type of OLine the Seahawks end up building. Kubiak ran more zone and wide zone with the Saints last season. Cross, Hayes, Olu Olu, Lucas are more athletic guys that can move than power guys. At 6'8 and over 340lbs, Pierce is a monster. Does he fit ZBS if that's what Kubiak stays with? I don't know him very well but can he move laterally?

Early indications is Dart will not be a mid round selection I am expecting him to be a 2nd rd pick possibly late 1st rd. Dart could get a big boost depending on how he looks in the Senior Bowl practices running a pro style offense.

I would draft Dart before Sanders

I would love him in the 2nd and wouldn't be mad if Seattle drafted him in the 1st. I'm pretty high on him but last I saw he was going in round 3, but I hadn't looked in awhile.

I've lost all interest in 6'-8" offensive tackles. Center of gravity and pad level are a constant issue. Too tall to mirror quick NFL rush ends consistently. The four year experience with Stone Forsythe has convinced me of that. I'd rather the team resign an experienced Forsythe than repeat a four year learning curve with another too tall rookie.

Sounds like a plan! But if Howard is indeed the #3, it's hard to imagine him lasting until the 3rd. But you never know...
