With the Senior Bowl a week away I thought why not post a Seahawks mock draft. I'm only doing the first five rounds in this mock draft. I focused on the trenches in this mock, this is a good year to do it.
st round #18 - (OG/OT) Wyatt Milum 6'6" 317 lbs, West Virginia: Milum is the one of the most, if not the most, fun lineman to watch. He is physical in the run game, he likes to impose his will on defensive players in the run game. He looks a fairly athletic, he holds other teammate offensive lineman accountable, having listen to him in an interview you can tell he loves football. He would be a starter at LG day 1. He hasn't given up a sack in the last three years and only gave up 6 hurries this year. Milum was one of highest graded offensive lineman, by PFF, in this draft. He has the second highest grade on PFF.
nd round # - (DT/DE) Alfred Collins 6'5" 320 lbs, Texas: Collins is a big athletic DT that can play NT and DE on a 3-4 defense. He looks to have great agility for his size and moves more like a DE. He is raw as a pass rusher but he has a ton of upside. Collins could play NT, which would enable Byron Murphy to kick out to DE to provide more as a pass rush.
rd round #82 - (QB) Will Howard 6'4" 235 lbs, Ohio State: Howard, for me is QB#3 or maybe #2 in this draft, and the one QB I would target in this draft. Howard throws with good touch and anticipation. He doesn't take a lot a lot of sacks, he has a lot of playing experience, and he has size and athletic ability to run if the play breaks down.
th round #136 - (CB) Nohl Williams 6'1" 200 lbs, Cal: Williams has good ball skills and is fairly physical for a CB. He would give us good depth at CB. He has apparently been a standout at the Shrine Game practices. Williams had seven interceptions this past year.
th round #173 - (OT) Hollin Pierce 6'8" 344 lbs, Rutgers: Pierce is a RT only prospect, but he is a monster in the run game. I don't trust Abe Lucas will ever play a full season so I think Pierce can come in as a rookie and give us depth at RT. He only gave up one sack this past season.
