Tavaris Jackson is allowing himself to be subjected to second-string status when he could be a starter elsewhere? Why?

The only way Jackson could be a starter would have been to not sign as a backup somewhere before the season started, and wait for the mid season phone calls.

But that's risky when you're a 30 year old fringe starting QB that wants to collect a few more years of paychecks before retiring.

I kind of hope he doesn't do the RRR anymore.

I've loved the show, but I wouldn't mind if it didn't come back either. The assumptions that are made about players based on what happens on RRR gets ridiculous. It sort of feels like it's becoming a gimmick for him, too. On the other hand, the constant clamoring for the show by this fanbase would get unbearable.

That said, I would never miss an episode.

I know that, to win, we have to think of the cap first and all that stuff, and I agree with that position, but man I like Mike Robinson. Not just for RRR, but he seems like a good guy on top of being an excellent player at FB and on ST. I am extremely happy for him and for us.

I like the move. We had 2 damaged FBs and MRob is healthy. Sounds like a a good move. Ware has not played hardly at all and by the accounts Coleman had a pretty bad hamstring pull

So he must have passed the physical, which is awesome. Must be all better, too, health-wise.

The question is, what kind of condition is he in? Will he be able to go Monday, even for limited snaps? Or does he have to work 15 pounds of muscle back on to his frame?

I am thrilled to have him back. I just hope he's good to go and can play back into shape safely.

Nah that is a picture from the VMAC today or yesterday I am guessing. Right?

Assuming he's been working out getting back to 100%, it's good that we don't use a ton of plays with a FB. He should be able to handle the rather light load, even though the position is very physical.

Sorry I guess I missed that promo. I am not sure how it is "ridiculous" for me to say he looks lighter than preseason as he does look skinny in that picture and reportedly was down in weight. But keep jaw jacking more over a simple comment. Funny how ridiculous it gets when people try to cut others down for no reason.
