Would have been a tough throw as Wilson was running for his life.. but it looks like Baldwin (or Tate) is wide ass open right at the stick.

Man watching Rice just stand there pisses me off to no end... how do you not see the db cutting in front of you?

except for the LB #53 that woulda just jumped in front of it. At least if Rice had made any kind of effort to go after that ball he would have had a shot on a catch or PI.

With Russell's arm I don't think 53 would have had the chance to close on the pass that quick.

But yeah.. Rice's effort on it was terrible.

well the prob i see is that it's much more across his body so the trajectory is going to be lower. all the LB has to do is move in front of it.

I don't think Wilson was expecting rice to sit there like a clown.

That's unfortunately been the story the last two games. Wide open receivers that Wilson doesn't see. No way the defender closes on that, that's an easy completion.

Someone needs to put together 'the best of mcquistan' vid, dubbed with the benny hill theme.

As for doug being open, he definitely wasnt open for the bullet pass needed. Had a guy coming right in line, would have likey been tipped/batted down etc.

If there wasn't an embarrassing breakdown in pass pro there, he could have hit him easy.

Not sure who was more pathetic between Rice and the Ginger on that play. But yea, it looks like the other WR was wide open. Its a shame that Russ missed him

McQ got beat by a really good spin move. One would think he'd understand the importance of the situation, 4th and 15 and we have to have the first down and maybe kept his man in front of him but he doesn't. But McQ is not the Olineman that bothers me, it's that lazy ass...

Carpenter. Hit one guy (most of the time) and my job is done, Carpenter. Watch him in that gif, he's done this all season so far and in the six games of the season he played last year too. Lay-Z. No motor whatsoever.

I wonder, man, Cable just HAS to be riding his ass, HAS to. But he still has a job.

Doesn't anyone think Saban might have known what he was mumbling about when he mouthed "Carpenter, really?" at the draft after we took him in the 1st round? I Do.

Cable needs to get his boys right, and dish out some punishment.

By boys I mean olde Lefty and Righty.

By punishment I mean breaking a dudes jaw.

Joking aside, Tommy Boy needs to put the fear of god into his unit(s).

There is no question that McQ was worse than anyone else in that play. Come on.

Tell ya the truth Lynch even has a shot at that once that player started coming after Wilson.

Took me about 10 times of watching it, but you can see him right at the first down line on the sideline. He really is wide open. Would have been an easy 1st down.

Carpenter or Cable? I'd get rid of both as soon as possible. I can't get my head around this love affair the fans have with Cable. He's solely responsible for the drafting of the lemon-linemen, Moffitt and Carp. Sweezy, while serviceable, is another one of Cable's cartoons. Frikin' Sark has done better with O-linemen, even in neglect. Yesterday was a loss that I was able to swallow, but I can't recall a team that won a SB with a line like ours...even when 100% they basically suck. I said this the entire off-season and was met with "Duh, how come we lead the league in rushing if we're so bad"?

Two words: Marshawn Lynch. That's why. Look at his YAContact. We probably aged his body 2 years, last year alone. We will probably do the same this year, and to RW as well. We need to right this O-line ship immediately, via trade if possible and certainly in the draft. Hopefully a lesson was learned regarding Cable's surefire picks. Hopefully, Cable will be in Jax or NYJ by that time too. His group is BY FAR the weak link of this team, yet he is adored by most. WTH?

That's how I see it. A pass to Lynch, and if he runs towards Baldwin, Baldwin could secure the block for the easy first down. Oh well, coulda, woulda, shoulda.
