if he still has all his speed he could end up being a factor. He can blow the top off a defense to open up all the underneath stuff we're going to need to be doing to get the ball to Tate/Baldwin/Harvin.

Seahawks have placed WR Sidney Rice on IR. WR Ricardo Lockette promoted from practice squad, WR Josh Lenz signed to psquad

Doesn't seem like a great indication that Harvin will make it this week.

And I'm ok with that. We "should" be able to beat TB without him. I'm all for giving him more time to get healthy.

I wish him the best, not expecting anything from him though. Like I said in another thread, he can sprint down the field to occupy a db or maybe get the safety to look his way, even if he never touches the ball.

i was surprised when we let him go. even if he's just a one trick pony, it's a pretty good trick.

Wow....Cut, signed by SF...cut. resigned and now this.....deep doo-doo territory.

He was cut off the Bears practice squad before re-signing here as well.

Underwhelming. Stephen Williams had bigger play potential.

Lockette sucks...We are in doo doo((Like Largent80 said)).
Tampa has a lot of talent on their D and they are hungry for a win. This could be another ugly game.

if we are worried about big play potential from our 5th string receiver we're in big trouble.

Tough that the injury cam this far into the season, looking at how much the WR participate on special teams here(Baldwin, Tate, Kearse, and Harvin) we really need someone for a breather and a few plays here and there plus an emergency against injury. At least he is familiar with our offense and knows some of our guys, good luck Lockette.

And it's the one trick that Pete seems to care about in his passing offense.

How does Williams have bigger play potential?
Lockette has 2 games to his name, 2 catches, yet more yards and a TD more than Stephen Williams has managed in his 4 year NFL career.

Why is Williams (who isn't even available, incidentally) offer that Lockette does not?
