The way the defense was stopping Buffalo I thought it was fine. Even if you hold to a FG you get the ball back quicker and only down 2 scores.

Well, they certainly got the ball back awfully quickly after gifting Buffalo a very quick and easy TD because of the onside kick attempt.

Well damn. I thought they said it was 3 or 4 out of 40 something, and I thought they were talking about this season, but I could be mistaken.

But either way, with such a miniscule chance of success, I wouldn't consider an onside kick anything more than an absolute last resort. Pretty much like a hail Mary.

You're probably right, I didn't realize you were talking about a stat mentioned on the broadcast. I was just quoting last year's numbers.

They're extra dumb now too, because you have to call them beforehand. No more surprise kicks.
