Let's pretend that Wilson will be on the trade block and the Hawks need a trade partner . What would be your trade scenario ? I want to swap Wilson for Derek Carr with the Raiders and draft picks of course . The Raiders have the 17th pick this year. That should start negotiations . Carr is 6'3" 210 ibs 30 years old . And is having a gr8 season . A plug and play for both sides and Wilson would get his dream job in Vegas Baby ! :0190l:

Hmm lets look at that

Yeah not really

Carr 21 tds, 14 ints in 16 games, passer 94

Wilson 22 tds and 5 ints in only 13 games adn injured, 103 passer

so you want to swap a guy that has a 1.5 td/int ratio wiht Wilson who has a 4.4 td/int ratio yeah not smart at all/

Don’t forget the effect of a $35 million cap hit vs a $19 million cap hit. Wilson v Carr.

Why don’t you stick to the original topic. Who would you trade RW for? LOL. I already know the answer. Nobody. Not objective enough of a fan to think yourself out of a wet paper bag.

Trade Wilson and Adams to the Steelers for two 1st rounders, 2 second rounders, cash, and Minkah Fitzpatrick.

you hyperbolic mfer. Put the amphetamines down.

Carr is at least leading a team with a winning record and a shot at the playoffs . Do you follow anything in the NFL other than how awesome the Adams trade was for the Hawks ? We wish you would share more of your expertise on any future trades . BTW , I hope you still have that avatar . :2thumbs:

Although a trade to Vegas for Carr makes sense. Carroll apparently likes Carr. Ciara gets a job as a lounge singer. Wilson is the face of the franchise that needs to be cleaned up.

Since we’re pretending…because I would definitely not trade him (unless it’s a FULL rebuild with Lockett, Adams, Wagner, Brown, Carson, DK, etc…traded for more draft capital)…I wouldn’t take Carr.

I would need three 1st and one 3rd rounder and someone that could catch the ball when it’s hiked in shotgun. Yah…that’s my only requirement there.

I’d plan on sucking for a minimum of 3-5 and as I watched Wilson win a super bowl or two with another team, I’d watch Seattle squander the high value picks they have for guys that “have great hands” while passing over a guy like Sweat. Or Chubb. Or Josh Myers & Creed Humphrey.

Then, I’d still root for Seattle but would highly unlikely be planning my whole weekend around ineptitude.

Slowly but surely, I’d morph into finding my favorite guy in another sport, take bowling for instance, and grow out my combover and take dumps into urinals at every bowling alley within 30 minutes of where I live while sipping on a White Russian.

I’d still rock my Hawks gear though.

There. That’s my pretend scenario. Thoughts?

I like Carr as a player, but seriously doubt that Vegas trades him this off-season. Even if they did to us for Wilson and picks do you really trust PC and JS to make good high pick choices in the draft? I don't.

Since were pretending I say we trade Wilson to the Giants for both 1st round picks this year, their 2nd round picks in 2023 and 2024, Jones and Leonard Williams. Then unload Jones to another team for the best pick we can get. Bring in a veteran QB as a bridge, or trade for one with a team that will take a mid round pick in return.

Of course, this only works if PC and JS are both gone and we have new team management. I seriously do not trust either of them with high round picks.

Derek Carr has 1 year left on his contract and will probably want a long-term contract in 2023 free agency. I wouldn't want to franchise tag him or have him as just a 1-year rental. Should a rebuilding team commit to him long-term? Are the Seahawks rebuilding? Would Wilson see Pittsburgh as an upgraded situation? Washington could be a possibility.
