The NFL Payback for the GB game last year? I mean we could go on and on and on BUT, I'll be the 1st to admit when we lost I wanted to hulk smash everything around me due to blatant to questionable calls and as well as learning we were the only ones to lose in out Division.. but as the team would say this week we went 0-1.. next week we going for 1-0. One week at a time. I mean yes its easy to point fingers at players, coaches, refs.. but I say whatever so they got lucky. I wouldn't say they're better, I'll say they took advantage of the opportunities given to them as we would or have in other games. But by no means are they on the same scale or level as us. When we came out our defense and patchwork offense was having their way with them while fighting the refs. In the second half I don't know what happened but they were out of it. Playing them colts would be comparable to playing the panthers. The Texans imo have been the only formidable opponent we have faced so far.

As for the Indy fans, well there's a few that have the right to talk as a true fan and they know who they are but after watching today game.. I have never seen the BEST example of bandwagon fans during games. This game was absolutely quiet like they robbed all the surrounding mortuaries of their stiffs when the colts were being walked all over in the 1st half. Come the 2nd half they slowly got life back, but man talk about quiet.. I heard our fellow 12th's over their fans

So this post blames the refs for a deserved loss and then slags off the Colts fans.

Let's stay classy. We're not Niners/Redskins fans.

Yeah wow :34853_doh: ... :141847_bnono: I have nothing to say besides maybe read the whole thing rather then skip the end?? Because in no way do I play the blame game on the refs and nor do I call anyone Niner/Redskins fans.. the only smart thing you said could be the "deserved loss" seeing as how our team didn't show up after halftime and rolled over...

I read your entire post and the 4 words that stand out is Payback and Indy bandwagon fans.

How is that not blaming the refs and calling out Indy fans?

I agree with English. Let's stay classy.

We played terrible defense and our offense sputtered every time we were inside the 40 yard line.
This team has issues to work through and they have not gone away since week 2. It just bit us in the A!

We will get healthy, we will get better. But we lost , plain and simple.

Yeah, I gotta agree. Seems like you jumped on the poster apparently without reading the entire post. Isn't that similar to the type of treatment that the NFL talking heads dish out when they aim to disparage the Seahawks without actually watching the entire game? They look at stats or a couple of highlights and make their judgments.

The talk of "class" is borderline uppity imho. Fans root for their favorite sports teams for entertainment value and I can't imagine that it would be in anyone's "top 10" motivating factors to show everyone how "classy" they are. (If so, such an individual might need to take a look in the mirror.) So, I chuckle whenever I hear that term thrown around. Those using it are assuming they meet the standard or are even the epitome of class in the first place. Why do people throw that around like some trump card? Do they feel like they're in the classy club if they "one up" others by drawing their own determined line of separation? This is FOOTball, not a dress up ball.

My advice, for whatever it's worth... don't be so quick to fire the "low class" accusation with each other, especially when we don't really know someone personally. Actually, I think it has no place in any discussion among fans... unless someone desires to offend people and start a fight by taking it away from football to the personal insult level. I thought that sort of thing was a ban-able offense in these forums? Because it's an indirect insult, it doesn't get direct attention.
