Was KW not quite 100%? Seems like he was out of the game quite a bit. He had a phenomenal game and that TD catch was money. Just seemed like I saw other RB's more than I am used to when KW is 100% good to go.
Walker had the flu, and he was questionable to play a few hours before the game. He toughed it out, and the players are now calling this the "Kenneth Walker Flu Game."

Where did Jobe come from..I thought he had a good game as well.
Jobe got the highest grade among our CBs yesterday, with a 76.6 against the run and 62.4 in coverage.

Jobe was an UDFA from Alabama who was signed by the Eagles. He played all 17 games for them last year, starting 3, but was cut in August and picked up by the Seahawks.

He had the flu on Saturday and all of Sunday. He was a bad shape but fought thru it. In post-game, Raible said that when K9 was interviewed after the game, he looked so tired he could barely talk.

Great bounce back win! Great posts! If they can stitch together another win against the bills..I'll feel a lot better about this year.

At the halfway point in the season, you're only going to markedly improve those areas by improving personnel which isn't (to my knowledge) happening

That isn't an assumption or an opinion. It's just a reality

You can have your own thoughts of course, but then when you share them after a game expect others to challenge them when they are flawed

Take care (y)
Just because you say we can't improve doesn't make it a "reality", it's quite literally nothing more than your opinion. I get better at my job everyday. I think we can and likely will improve. Most teams aren't playing their best ball to start the season and teams that have deep postseason runs often times hit their stride mid-late season.
Personnel changes happen as guys come back from injury. Backups also get the chance to take advantage of reps to improve. Coaches are able to put players in better positions to succeed as they learn strengths and weaknesses of the individual parts. Players improve with reps and as they become more familiar with the new scheme. The units can improve as players "learn" each other and start to gel more.

This team WILL improve over the season. Esp. when they get more guys back. Most of us knew this and expected this. A steady improvement over the season. It's not "reality" because you claim it is, Power. It's an OPINION.

We'll know where Seattle stands for sure. Good teams seem to be smoking Buffalo, what will Seattle do? Can't wait to find out.

Perhaps a better way of phrasing it would have been that glaring weaknesses will likely continue to be problem areas (if we have seen it all the way to the halfway point of the season). It is rare that a team that can't stop the run (for example) suddenly becomes top 10 in the league in rush defense at game 14 for example.

You are right that improvement can be seen, I apologize if the meaning of the post was not clear (y)

That wasn't the context of what I was saying at all if you go back and read the conversation. I was trying to get him to focus on the positive of the win and enjoy the moment

To me finally seeing the D get pressure on Cousins, and making 2nd half adjustments to end Atl.’s ability to run were the highlights for me..

Liked what I saw from lots of players, so many it’d be a very long list. The team I hoped this team could be looked like it showed up. Big shout out though for Michael Jerrell who deserves to now be the RT going forward. The whole OL generally played its best game of the year.

Sure was fun to watch, especially the 2nd half.

One thing that's good, is, even though all the pundits had picked the Falcons, and we pretty much dominated, we still got VERY little coverage nationally. We're just another 4-3 team, in a large group of 4-3 and 3-4 teams. No one is expecting much. Still doesn't give me a lot of confidence against Buffalo, but all the same, when we get big coverage for a win, it usually means we get beat the next week, so not seeing much talk about our win is probably good. Now if we do beat Buffalo, everyone will notice that. The only big wins are against division giants (49ers, sometimes Rams, maybe this year Cardinals), and against AFC teams. No one counts a non divisional NFC opponent for much.

This last victory gives me more hope for the team, but deep down I'm still not really convinced.

We're an 8-9/9-8 team that's starting to make headway towards being a solid 10-7 team.

Sunday's win was the team's most balanced WIN against one of the better teams in the NFC over the past three weeks, which gives us a heaping of hope but, sadly and realistically tempered by chronic sub-par Oline play. I remain hopeful but unconvinced as well.

Not sure we're bad but a bit disappointing
Under 40 Rushing Yards on Offence is really not good enough
