This from the guy who has little evidence to validate any of the assertions and conspiracies he has that PC is behind almost every error that the Hawks have made since he's been here, and is single handedly responsible for ruining RW and the offense.

decent point john63 maybe you should reevaluate your position on Carroll LOL

lth

I have to a point, hence why I gave him credit for his movement on the offense.

Good job John63!

So this is the Cincinnati Bengal author of the linked article that kicked off this thread.

He (James Rapien) loves a good trade rumor and uses copious amounts of hot sauce on his food. Cincinnati chili is his go-to meal, followed by gallons of mint chocolate chip ice cream for dessert.

.............. amazing to read the credibility given to someone I never heard of before over Wilson and Carroll and Seattle Seahawks.

A few thoughts:

1. John's phone line should be busy, teams ought to be calling to find out what's up, which is good, as teams are still eager to get into the room before the bidding starts.
2. If John's phone line is quiet, we have big problem, teams saw enough of Russ's struggle in the past two seasons, and they decided to wait for the price to drop.

lol, this is like buying on ebay, ok back to topic.

3. Make no mistake, we are in post Wilson era, if Pete and John didn't mess up, it should have ended past off-season and we are sitting pretty with 4 first round pics, and Marc Jones would have been our game manager.
4. But we did mess up, which alone should have gotten Pete and John fired, did we hear Jody isn't happy? of course she isn't happy because she was told we can go somewhere if we don't trade Wilson. and now the most she could get is 2-3 picks, the 4-5 picks deal is gone, for good, because John and Pete messed up. FIRE THEM.

We shall have periodic reports about Russ' being on the market just to test 1 & 2, and keep the interest up. Russ will keep denying loyal good guy and all, and Pete will keep shower love on Russ. We will never know for sure if John initiated the rumor, or Russ, or some other team's execs. Just enjoy the process, all part of post Wilson era fun.

Do you not understand damage control, he has to finish playing here this year still, he also has to have the support of his team still.

If it is true we will know after the season, if it's not then we will know after the season. I have no doubt inquires are being made however, John denied Chicago calling last year until it came out oh well they did call I just didn't take them seriously.

Because people want something from everyone, what you can do for me, rarely is there true good will anywhere. Just look at the world every nook and cranny it's there. Some of it is trade off tic for tat such as relationships, you get something from her she gets something from you. you sell yourself an hour at a time, we are all prostitutes, just what we do is different than the people on the street.

Thats reality.

The world is not a nice place, recognizing that and then navigation is much easier, not saying everything is dark but knowing your environment and what the audience is your addressing helps with dealing with the situations you may encounter and choosing and weighing what you want to give and or take in any circumstance.

Such a description sounds very isolating.

This is not a monolithic world. The wonder is in its diversity of cultures. In this age of specialization, where many of us can professionally grow to learn more and more about less and less, it's healthy to take mini vacations from our routines and venture into new discoveries and unfamiliar arenas.

Seeking to explore the breath of our many communities thru volunteerism is a proven path way to discovering healthier outlooks and realize the joy of a much bigger and better world. Volunteering a specific scheduled time slot to help others find their way to a better life experience doesn't cost much. The reciprocal benefits of doing so can turn out to be quite huge. In this life, it's the best return on investment in time I have found. Helping others become the best they can be is the prerequisite to becoming the best we can be.

Life is short.

Explore and Prosper.

There will be no refunds!

The best-case possible scenario for this team in a season was basically last year. (Win a division and knocked out in the first playoff game.)

The worst case possible was pretty much this year. (Wilson injured for several games and likely missing the playoffs)

Years to follow will likely be between the two. Most likely wildcards but no division playoff wins. If Wilson is OK with that, he stays. If not, he goes.

We know the ceiling and floor of this team by now. We almost assuredly won't get much worse than this year, with Pete & Wilson. But we almost certainly won't get any better than last year either.

I never expected Wilson to re-sign with the Seahawks the 1st time. It made no sense then, but he did. So it is possible to see another decision that on the surface makes little sense.

But people live where they live for reasons aside from work requirements. He has a lot going here and near his other property in Hawaii. So maybe.

And change comes with risk. But going to the Broncos feels like a perfect situation for him because the Broncos basically just need a top 5 QB and they become a top 5 team. The Saints are less attractive but the ability of their coach to extract a new level of Wilson productivity has to be tempting.

The only reason to go to NY is for the exposure, but that is not a great team and realistically people in NYC don't care as much about the Giants as you would expect - even when the Giants were good.

As much as I want the guy to stay, if a team makes an offer they can't refuse, do it. Unfortunately, at least 2 or 3 mediocre at best seasons will follow imo.
Again, NONE of us know what he really wants and/or is going to do. Could go either way.
I suspect that regardless what Russ or the team says, teams are going to be on the phone making offers. And likely some huge offers. John wouldn't be doing his job if he didn't listen.

I beg to differ Chris, the world is wonderful if you are the kicker of azzes, or you are the kickee but has that ability to justify the kicking.

Agreed on that said here is what we know from the horse's mouth

Wilson not true he wants to stay
PC we ant him here

SO until either of them says something why worry about it. Now I know some want him gone so bad, and will even ignore what the actual people involved are saying to go with rumors. Or have such a negative view on those involved or like in general they prefer to go with the bad. F0r all of you, I am sorry for you.

Again unnamed sources versus those actually involved. Anyone with any common sense goes to the people actually involved. You may be cautious about it fine, but you have to go with what Wilson and the team said as opposed to unnamed sources.

So now Russ isn't a good leader Keasley? He voiced his concerns, he also said he needs to play better. No different than what any other QB would say. And he's not wrong at all. Shoot, if you want to really look at guys who call out their team? Rodgers, year after year. Nobody seems to care. Manning said "let's just say we had protection problems tonight" and he was applauded for it.

One should have no doubt that Russ worked on being a good leader, certainly said everything a leader would or should. Want to sharpen your leadership skills? Just pay attention and take notes when watching Russell Wilson's pressers, all text book perfect, and learn. There will always some rebels, like Angry, LOB, etc. that just couldn't dealt with text book perfection. There's always ways to dealt with those renegades, like Pete, ole Pete will cleanse the house. Unlike those Stanford boys, Ole Pete knew perfection when he saw one.
