I didn’t hate it though. I think I would have preferred all white instead of that wolf grey color.
This. Change the uni color from grey (which isn't even a color, just a gradient between 2 colors) to white and it's in the top 5% of the league. I would also, maybe, make the slits that show green a little longer/wider.

The helmets, meanwhile, were sick as F. How much you think one of those will set me back, Aros?

Maybe they'll improve them next time around but I personally wouldn't want one because most people would think it's an Oregon Ducks jersey. Definitely better than action green though. (Wouldn't wear that one either, too old for the flashy colors)

I couldn’t care any less about the “ducks”, but I suggest you duck haters try to get past that aspect as it relates to our Rivalry unis
Respectfully disagree, but you out of state import fans seemingly can’t grasp that concept. As a UW grad and Graduate student, it’s disgusting and shows Nike and Phil have no class.

My wife said they look like someone picked them out of the Oregon Ducks used uniform bin, and I agree.

I don't care for them. Pretty tacky imo. But also not a big deal for me. It's not like we're going to be seeing them play in these very often, so whatever.

we were neigh on unbeatable in wolf greys for a long time. I'm partial to them. The helmet is fire, but the rest of the "rival" outfit is trash.

Cut this Bs now. The entitlement sometimes to “fan more” is absurd.

Guess what I’m out of state. Doesn’t make me any less a fan or unaware. But guess what .. I was born and raised in Seattle, moved the **** out of Washington when the Cost of living was out weighing the wages. not many people know I was born and raised up in the PNW cuz it doesn’t matter. So just because fans are out of state does make them any less a fan.

Guess what else? Yes “out of state fans can grasp the concept” Every damn state has its rivals, internal and external. It’s nothing SPECIAL or new.

I think the point was that out-of-staters might not fully understand the OU/UW rivalry and why people might shy away from this particular version of our jersey. Out of state fans are great!

lol seriously

I’m a Washingtonian that resides in Texas

I’ve pulled for the Huskies for over 50 years, I’ve been a die hard Seahawk fans since before we even knew they would be called The Seahawks.

The Seahawks have a world wide following, in terms of classless and disgusting you pretty much just hit the mark.
“Import fans” da Phuc is that anyway?

It’s unfortunate that your apparent dislike for the Ducks, would cause you to go after fellow fans of your favorite NFL team.

I suppose it is what it is, GoHawks

Depends if you go Speed or Speedflex. The former is about $400 and the latter is about $800.

Nike designing this atrocious Oregon Ducks Seahawks jersey and you telling UW folks to get over it, then going on about your fandom of the Dawgs is the most hilarious take I’ve seen here and doesn’t pass the sniff test.

You do you though.

I for damn sure am a UW Husky born and bred, but, I understand the Seahawks business end of things and the Seahawks have a significant collective fanbase in Oregon, so, it naturally, business wise, makes sense to do something that would appeal to the the state of Oregon fanbase, and I guess that was to fuse the Ducks and Seahawks and give the Oregon/Seahawks fans their “own” jersey. There was a ton of people that had these jerseys on and I think more than half. I personally think they are not great looking jerseys but if it helps the team financially gets some more nationwide appeal and exposure, I can’t hate on that. It betters the team at the end.

I would have liked the unis more if they were dark, like from the same uniform the helmets came from.

And why the hell would you pick a color that allows your opponent to wear their home unis in your stadium?

Using a Rivals jersey design to make Seattle’s pro football team look like Seattle’s (UW) NCAA Football Rival is the issue I have with it. Clearly intentional and garbage move by Nike and Phil

I'm a simple guy. If I can see it with my 2 eyes, it's a color.

Yup. Looked too much like a Ducks uni, and I hate the Ducks. Get rid of them. I'm a traditionalist when it comes to unis, traditional home uni and traditional away uni. I like to immediately know when I turn on a game what teams are playing. Maybe one funky uni that's different, but that's it. All these different unis are just a marketing ploy so that Nike can make more money. Yeah, I know what I sound like.
