Yeah, I could see us going $10-12 mill on a 3/4 year deal. Could structure that with a fairly low cap hit over the first couple of years and a less painful exit toward the back end.

K9 basically gathering bids, and then come back to the Seahawks asking them to match the highest bid but with a SMALL discount.

Yeah good luck on that one with John, the injury history and finally breaking out in his contract year when the OLine started gelling.
I like our chances with John's history of trading for, signing & drafting RB's. Not to mention the shelf life and cost.

There are three RB's in this draft that should be available for JS that I really like and I say roll the dice.

Choices. Choose to keep your seats or choose to give them up. There are plenty of people would love to be STH's. It's not cheap at all. If you have the means, go for it. If you don't, then you don't. I'm glad they called people out for selling for the sole purpose of making money. We saw two playoff games with a MASSIVE MAJORITY of the crowd in Hawks gear. Maybe it just worked? Is it so hard to just sell direct to a friend or family member? Do you HAVE to sell 3rd party? No
All I’m saying is it’s getting very expensive to go to a game.

14 million is still a lot for a RB and im guessing they want JSN taken care of this year and have to sign a pass rusher if Mafe goes and Lawrence retires. There is also a good chance Nwosu is cut and they try to get him back to lower the 30m cap hit but he could also walk.

Apart from Lynch and Carson the GM hasn't really paid RB's and generally grabs them in day 2. Carson made pennies for almost 4 years being a 7th rounder and got rewarded. A pretty damn under rated player.

I'm assuming they either feel confident enough that there is a RB in the draft they like to move on from Walker or they know someone like Tyler Allgeier will come to them. The fact a few in the media are talking about him going to seattle makes me think there is some truth to that.
Tyler Allgeier has never fumbled in his 4 years with the Falcons, in 700 touches. He also never fumbled in his 4 years at BYU, although he played LBer his freshman year. He finished his college career with 461 carries, 2904 yds and 36 TD's.
Might as well familiarize ourselves with our new RB.

Just remember John works quietly, secondly, we watch more then we play typically, especially early on. Guessers spew for weeks calling different situations in hope one sticks, we may lose some, but I think we sign some that in press clippings were packed and on the boat by many.
