From a Hawks perspective, the scenario of Trey starting is the best one. Trey is most likely going to make mistakes Brock does not.

... but it really doesn't matter who the 49ers starting QB is! hello? kyle shanahan will break and discard the QB1 regardless. a decent QB2, QB3, hell even 4th string QB on the 49ers roster is just as important as the anointed QB1 when shanahan is calling plays. if there's one thing to be certain of in an uncertain world, it's kyle shanahan breaking his QBs. we've seen it over and over.
