It's a good call. He might be a late bloomer because of his injury struggles and the OL inconsistency, but he's proven me wrong this year.

It's exactly what I saw, his patience was so Le'veon Bell. I remember years ago, when the Steelers played here. My seats are in the end zone, so I had a very good view of how he ran. His patience was just incredible. Wait...wait....hit the hole. Chris Johnson was the same way. Incredibly patient runner.
One play in particular, he just flat out stopped.........then accelerated. Incredible field vision. And in the open field, I don't care what anyone says, he's one of the best in the NFL.

THIS RIGHT HERE ^^^^^

Fake narratives, so very 2025.

And how many times has K9 turned NOTHING into SOMETHING? Several times.

I’d rather he hit the hole and get a yard than dance around and lose 2 or 3, which was the complaint. Granted, the list of NFL backs with the most negative rushes reads like a Canton roster, but that’s as much a volume stat as anything.

He had one of the best 6-game stretches we’ve seen, but that’s needs to be interpreted in light of his entire body of work. If he wants to be paid like a Barkley or a CMC or a Henry, he needs to prove that he can carry a similar load.

It’s kind of funny, though. Whatever our differing opinions of him, it seems like we all pretty much agree on his monetary value to the team.

He was never "dancing too much". That was such a stupid complaint fans had about him. Some would prefer a RB lose a yard trying to go straight than losing one while trying to make something happen.
AKA "Dancing".
Just cuz you type some cute shit in a quasi aggressive tone don't make it true. Yardage markers run vertically, not laterally. Sometimes, a lot of sometimes, actually, K9 had a tendency to lose a few yards by "trying to make something happen" (aka dancing) when running straight would have netted us 3. I understand his psychology behind it, as he knows he's capable of burning the field on fire once he makes just one guy miss. But it's still a valid frustration.

That if he just hits the hole, it's 3 yards. Not trying to argue, but you clearly have not been watching. He gets the ball and it's a brick wall in front of him. So, you want him to just run into a wall? And no, he's not going to get 3 yards when 3 dudes are waiting for him.
The way he has no running room and he bounces it outside is among the BEST IN THE NFL, period.

No need to just make up stuff that doesn't exist. Running into a wall of defenders is automatically 3 yards?

How many times have we seen Charbs get the ball, only to have him get blasted almost immediately? OFTEN

People should look at the running styles of K9 & SA37 and objectively compare their stats & production when trying to determine a contract offer.
I would prefer a big, punishing RB in the Derrick Henry mold that has a 2nd, 3rd & short, drive extending effect. A bruising tackle breaker linked with Ouzts to make opposing defenses time against us a long day at the office and needing post game recuperation.

You know the first to comment with this observation during the live telecast, in real-time, was the much-maligned Cris Collinsworth.

Agreed. If all KW9 sees is buttholes getting pushed backwards at him, then he is going to dance around to find an open space. The biggest surprise was that KW9 has the ability to truck people when he wants to. He showed that toward end of the regular season and in the postseason. Looking forward to seeing more of that.
